Hip Hop Legend, Nas is taking on an off-screen role in Erykah Badu’s indie drama called ‘The Land’, which he is set to executive produce. He is also said to be producing film’s soundtrack.
According to Variety, The Land, which will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January, was written and directed by Steven Caple Jr. and Lizzie Friedman.
The Land follows four teenage boys who escape the streets of Cleveland to pursue professional skateboarding, but they get caught in the web of a local drug queen-pin (Badu).
In addition to Badu, the cast includes Machine Gun Kelly, Michael K. Williams, and Moises Arias.
