The Tupac biopic “All Eyez On Me” has a confirmed theater date of June 16th 2017, which is also Pac’s 46th B’Day.
The movie which has been in production for several years was under initial development through Morgan Creek Entertainment, and is being distributed globally through Lionsgate.
After much speculation, the film gained some momentum after the worldwide success of N.W.A‘s 2015 biopic ‘Straight Outta Compton’ – which featured a brief cameo by Tupac (played by Demetrius Shipp Jr). Leading to Shipp landing the lead role in “All Eyez On Me”
Pac will also be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.
“Hidden Figures” beats out “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” for the no.1 spot at the box office.

Fox’s “Hidden Figures” has topped Disney-Lucasfilm’s “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” by about $1 million for the No. 1 spot at the North American box office, with $22.8 million at 2,471 sites, final figures showed Monday.
Sunday estimates had indicated that “Rogue One” was ahead by less than $200,000. But the comedy-drama “Hidden Figures” performed well ahead of those estimates on Sunday to deny “Rogue One” a fourth consecutive box office crown.
A documentary about the late legend Prince featuring some of his closest friends and collaborators due to hit theaters next year.
According to reports the documentary called, ‘Prince: R U Listening?’ will feature interviews from collaborators Dez Dickerson, Andre Cymone, Shelia E and others and also tributes from famous fans like Lenny Kravitz, Mick Jagger and Bono.
‘Prince: R U Listening’ is being directed by Michael Kirk for 13 Films and is expected to premiere in 2017.
