Kim can be seen covered in oil for the shot, which was taken from behind, and wearing nothing but black opera gloves and several pearl string chokers. The pictures were taken by Jean-Paul Goude at a secret location in Paris in September, and Kim recreated his well-known Champagne Incident shot.
