“Get Familiar” was an independent video shot by Chris Hall as part of his skateboarding series.  Back then up and coming skateboard sensation Darren Harper was taking the skateboarding world by storm with comparisons to Stevie Williams and TK.  Darren brought a rawness and hip-hop swag to his flourishing style.  I was more than honored when he wanted to use one of my songs “Dangerous Lives”  during  his segment of the video.  It was cool because the way Chris shot it was like a video.  We shot our portion on U street behind Ben’s Chilli Bowl and the rest is history.  Check out my man Darren doing his thing on the skateboard with his pop flip tricks.
