Many people only speculated that Brandy and Monica really couldn’t stand each other despite having their single “The Boy is Mine,” spend 11 weeks at #1. you would think that they would have come to terms and put their differences aside.  However, they were no differences,  the blantant dislike was build up by the media and in turn caused the two to turn on each other.  As legend goes their feud allegedly reached a fever pitch during the MTV Video Music Awards when a verbal argument backstage turned physical.  Listen below:
