Looks like that shopping trip Jay-Z took to Hermes on Madison Ave. on Christmas Eve was for his wife afterall.  A source at the boutique says Mr. Carter spent hours in the store choosing $350,000 worth of Birkin bags and other merchandise for Mrs. Carter. Reportedly, her hubby Jay-Z just added to her collection…amongst other fab Hermes things…for Christmas.  According to the NY Post:

“Jay was in a private room of Hermes doing last-minute shopping. He had a guard standing watch outside. He spent $350,000 on Birkin bags, among other things.” The buying binge took so long, Jay-Z missed his scheduled lunch at Nello, prompting the restaurateur to deliver his food to the store.
