Beyonce Announce “The Formation World Tour”

Fresh off the stage with Coldplay and Bruno Mars at this year’s Super Bowl 50, Beyoncé has announced “The Formation World Tour.”

The North American leg kicks off April 27 at Marlins Park in Miami, Fla. and travels to stadiums throughout the country including New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, Philadelphia, Dallas, and more.

The European run will commence on June 28 in Sunderland, U.K. at Stadium of Light. Additional European stadium dates include London, Manchester, Zurich, Amsterdam, Paris, Milan, Stockholm, Frankfurt, and more.

American Express card members can purchase tickets starting Feb. 9, with a general on-sale beginning Feb. 15 in Europe and Feb. 16 in North America.

Future Announces ‘The Purple Reign’ Tour

Future has announced the “Purple Reign” tour with opening act Ty Dolla $ign. The 22-date trek kicks off on Feb. 17 at the Orpheum Theatre in Madison, Wis., making stops at New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom, Atlanta’s Tabernacle, The Fillmore, here in DC and Los Angeles’ Hollywood Palladium.

Future released his solo album DS2 and his collaborative LP with Drake, What a Time to Be Alive, both of which topped the Billboard 200.

Tickets will be available for pre-sale starting Dec. 10 at 10 a.m. on Freebandz.com.

J. Cole is Bringing Forest Hills Drive 2014 to HBO

J. Cole is bringing his sold-out concert to HBO“J. Cole Forest Hills Drive: Homecoming” debuts Saturday, Jan. 9, at 10 p.m. The 90-minute special, described as part concert film, part backstage pass, tells his compelling life story through his own words and music, and through the observations of those who know him best.

Cole will perform all 13 songs from his third album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, with special appearances by Jay Z and Drake, who joined him on stage during his show at Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville, North Carolina back  in August.

The TIDAL event benefiting the New World Organization turned out to be a great success!! All your favorite artist from T.I., Lil Wayne, Meek Mill, Rick Ross, and Nick Jonas blazed the stage for the event which was streamed live on TIDAL for subscribers and non-subscribers.

But of course Jay Z saved the best for last!! Blazing the stage was NIcki Minaj and Beyonce for the mega collab “Feeling Myself.”  Both ladies looked stunning as they slayed the stage to completion.

Beyoncé is feeling patriotic for BEAT magazine. She reveled that she was on the cover last week, posting the picture up on her Instagram.

During the Q&A with the mag, she also revealed what she sings in the shower (“Holy Ghost” by Kim Burrell), Netflix or chill? (Netflix and chill), last song that got stuck in her head (Fetty Wap’s “Jugg”), and what she puts on her pizza (Extra tomato sauce and jalapeños).

In other news, Beyonce along with Nicki Minaj, Lil, Wayne, T.I. and many more will take the stage tonight at the Barclays Center for the Tidal X show.

Lil Wayne announced that he will be kicking off the First Annual Lil Weezyana Festival in New Orleans later this summer. The first time event will obviously feature Weezy plus a reunion of the Hot Boys. It all goes down on Aug. 28 at 7 p.m. at Bold Sphere Music at Champions Square.

What Dreams May Come Tour

J. Cole and Wale are coming to a city near you this fall. J .Cole has announced dates for his “What Dreams May Come” tour featuring the Wale.

The North American trek will make stops at theaters beginning September 10 in Miami, FL, traveling to Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, and Las Vegas, before wrapping October 30 in Seattle, WA.

Tickets go on sale in select markets starting August 2 at 10 a.m. local time.
