VIA: BILLBOARD  The launch of SZA’s CTRL Tour has been pushed back “due to unforeseen circumstances,” a rep for the singer confirms. The first three dates — Richmond, Va., Washington, DC, and New Haven, Conn. — have been postponed.

Fillmore Silver Spring, the venue she was scheduled to play Thursday night (Aug’ 17), announced the cancellation of the concert on Twitter earlier today.

Ticketholders for the Richmond date can attend a show on the new date of Aug. 21. Rescheduled dates for the other two stops are in the works but not yet announced.

SZA’s trek will now begin on Sunday (Aug. 20) at Fete Music Hall in Providence, R.I.

JAY-Z Heading on Tour in Support of New 4:44 Album

So So Def All-Star 20th Anniversary Concert - After Party

As I speculated on Flood the Block Radio, about a new possible JAY-Z album, the latter was confirmed earlier this week.   The project 4:44 is due June 30 and will be exclusively through TIDAL and Sprint.

Now it has been reported that he will be heading on the road in support of the new project.

According to Page Six, the tour was originally  planned for this Summer.  “It was originally planned for summer but has been moved to fall because of the kids.”

The last time JAY hit the road was with Beyonce for the “On the Run” tour in 2014.
