According to E! News, Kelly Rowland will appear on Fox’s hit show “Empire” this fall. Rowland will play the mother of Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard) in a flashback scene.
She won’t be the only superstar making a cameo on the second season, which is set to debut on Sept. 23. Chris Rock, Lenny Kravitz, Alicia Keys, and Marisa Tomei are also on board.

According to Billboard, Meek Mill is heading for his first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart. Industry forecasters suggest his latest release, Dreams Worth More Than Money, could move over 200,000 equivalent album units in the week ending July 5. That should easily place the set atop the Billboard 200 chart when its top 10 is unveiled on Wednesday, July 10.
Meek Mill’s last album, 2012’s Dreams and Nightmares, debuted and peaked in the No. 2 slot with 165,000 sold in its first week, according to Nielsen Music. Hip-Pop recording artist/song writer/dancer/singer/music producer Ornell “Ozone” Williams was born and raised in Washington DC the eldest of three siblings. At the age 9 he found a way to express himself through the art of dance and music, writing his first song at this tender age.
Over the years he learned every style of dance he could while also producing music, he was so passionate about his gifts that it didn’t go unnoticed. His dad introduced him to producer/songwriter Jovan Antonio who later became his mentor. In 2008 Ozone founded Syce Game Dance Crew that quickly became a house hold name taking the DMV area by storm and created a name for the crew. According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Rick Ross, 39, was riding in his Bentley in Fayette County, Ga. when cops pulled him over for a tinted window violation. When they approached the car, they smelled weed and proceeded to search the vehicle.
Barbershop 3 is coming to a theater new you in early 2016. Ice Cube takes us back to Calvin’s Barbershop in Chicago. Anthony Anderson, Eve, Common, Cedric the Entertainer, and Regina Hall reprise their roles from the earlier films. Also bringing some new additions to the cast including Nicki Minaj, who stars as Draya, the sassy new hairdresser at the beauty shop.

Back in 2012 Toya Wrights’ husband Mickey ‘MempHitz’ Wright sued R&B singer K. Michelle, VH1 and Love and Hip Hop producer Mona Scott-Young for defamation of character claiming his reputation had been damaged by K. Michelle’s claims that he physically abused her and stole the advance money from her record deal. The case is finally over and MempHitz has come out on the losing end.
According to The Atlanta Journal and Constitution,
… in depositions Wright acknowledged he got into a physical altercation with K Michelle in a Memphis hotel altercation in 2009 and had spent money from Jive Record’s budget for jewelry, not to help her career, and had sent a text message threatening to kill K. Michelle’s son.
It’s not defamation if it’s true. Case closed.

Rapper Nelly arrested on felony drug charges in Tennessee.
According to reports Nelly was arrested around 9 am Saturday morning after the tour bus he was riding in was pulled over for not displaying the proper U.S. Department of Transportation and International Fuel Tax Association stickers.
After the traffic stop officers detected the odor of marijuana and searched the bus where they turned up weed, meth and guns and drug paraphernalia. Nelly was taken into custody, booked and released on $10k bond. His next court date is June 9.
