If you have been under a rock the last 24 hrs, the #1 trending song on Twitter right now is a little song called “SHEther,” a major Nicki Minaj diss by Remy Ma. This week Nicki unveiled two collaborations that she is featured on one with Gucci Mane called “Make Love,” and the other called “Swalla,” with Jason Derulo. On both songs, Nicki seems to take aim at Remy Ma. Well, Remy wasted no time…actually less than 48 hrs to be exact to respond.
As a Nicki fan and supporter of Remy, I was a bit traumatized by the assassination of Nicki’s character etc. Could this be the modern day Lil Kim’ and Foxy Brown beef?
Nicki has no other options but to release nothing but venomous poison to win round 2.
Over the weekend married rapper T.I. stirred up messy side chick rumors by making a cryptic post on Instagram in response to his trending on social media after being photographed on the red carpet with his arms wrapped around a dark haired beauty in Houston.
T.I. jokes about the constant speculation surrounding his marriage, look at the caption below on his IG post:

The Estate of Youtube star Messy Mya is suing Beyoncé’ for sampling his voice for her hit single Formation.
According to reports the Estate of the late Youtube celebrity Anthony ‘Messy Mya’ Barré is suing Beyonce for $20 million for sampling his videos without permission or compensation.
Messy Mya was shot and killed in 2010.
Glenda McKinley, a spokesperson for the law firm representing Barre, Rodney & Etter, told NBC News that while Barre was originally “thrilled” to hear her brother’s voice included on track by a singer that both she and her late siblings were fans of, the lack of acknowledgment or compensation soured her.
According to McKinley, Barre has tried to reach an understanding with Beyoncé’s camp for months but have not made progress. Meanwhile, she was forced to brush aside questions about whether she was receiving royalties for the track.
“That’s not paying homage to someone,” McKinley quoted Barre as saying.
A representative for Beyoncé could not be immediately reached for comment.
When President Donald Trump declared at the Pentagon Friday he was enacting strict new measures to prevent domestic terror attacks, there were few within his government who knew exactly what he meant. According to CNN, Administration officials weren’t immediately sure which countries’ citizens would be barred from entering the United States. The Department of Homeland Security was left making a legal analysis on the order after Trump signed it. A Border Patrol agent, confronted with arriving refugees, referred questions only to the President himself, according to court filings.
Saturday night, a federal judge granted an emergency stay for citizens of the affected countries who had already arrived in the US and those who are in transit and hold valid visas, ruling they can legally enter the US. Trump’s unilateral moves, which have drawn the ire of human rights groups and prompted protests at US airports, reflect the President’s desire to quickly make good on his campaign promises. But they also encapsulate the pitfalls of an administration largely operated by officials with scant federal experience. It wasn’t until Friday, the day Trump signed the order banning travel from seven Muslim, majority countries for 90 days and suspending all refugee admission for 120 days, that career homeland security staff were allowed to see the final details of the order, a person familiar with the matter said.
The result was widespread confusion across the country on Saturday as airports struggled to adjust to the new directives. In New York, two Iraqi nationals sued the federal government after they were detained at John F. Kennedy International Airport, and 10 others were detained as well.
I hope that America realizes the mistake they have made by electing an idiot for their leader. It disgusts me to no end, to know that what Trump is doing is unconstitutional and inhumane. God Bless him!!!
Earlier this week comedian Steve Harvey raised eyebrows after meeting with president-elect Donald Trump at Trump Tower in New York and agreeing to work with Dr. Ben Carson at the department of Housing and Urban Development.
Steve now admits he was surprised and hurt by the severe backlash.
In his first radio show since his meeting with Trump Steve admits,
“On a personal note, lot of y’all hurt me. I didn’t expect the backlash to be so fierce. I also understand if I’m going to keep getting stabbed at, at least while you’re stabbing me, you should understand my intent.”
“I’m from the hood. I’ve been putting in the work for years. I care about these inner cities because that’s where I’m from.”
“But I’m also very aware of the anger that so many people feel. And these voices will continue to be heard and they should. If we sit at the table, then we can have a say-so.”
“When I walked away, (I felt) there might be a real chance for some positive to come out of what many feel is doom and gloom.”
Taxstone, host of the popular “Tax Season” podcast, was arrested in connection with the rapper, Troy Ave shooting at a T.I. concert at New York’s Irving Plaza last year.
According to the New York Daily News, Tax was scheduled to appear in court on a weapons possession charge on Tuesday and has been under investigation for his alleged involvement in the May shooting.
“He will be arraigned tomorrow,” said Taxstone’s lawyer, Ken Montgomery. “We look forward to reading the complaint from the government.”
According to the Daily News, he served 18 months for weapons and robbery charges in the past. He also returned to jail in 2010 and 2012 for additional time due to parole violations. Tax often speaks about his time in jail on his “Tax Season” podcast, which boasts a 5-star rating on iTunes.
Troy Ave is currently out on $500,000 bond following the May shooting at Irving Plaza where he says he was shot and where his bodyguard, Ronald McPhatter, was killed. Troy’s legal team claims he somehow took the gun away from the shooter and fired back in self-defense.
Troy’s lawyer Scott Leemon issued a statement on the matter, though he would not identify anyone as the shooter at this time. “As I told you day one, Troy was a victim,” Leemon explained. “[Troy] was shot by someone else and his friend and bodyguard died a hero.”
Chris Brown and Soulja Boy are taking their petty beef to the next level by hitting the boxing ring!
Soulja boy announced that he has signed his contract and the fight is “It’s going down!”
Chris Brown added: “BOXING MATCH SET. Legally. Man to Man. NO MORE DISSING AND NO MORE BULLSHIT.”
Despite Soulja Boy’s apology the feud with Chris Brown is still raging. On Wednesday (Jan. 4), both artists confirmed that a boxing match has been set for March.
2016 has come and gone and now we are almost done with our first week of the new year!! R.I.P to all that we lost in 2016, including Carrie Fisher, Debbie Reynolds, and George Micheal to name a few.
2017 has brought additions as well, big congrats to Janet Jackson and her husband, Wissam Al Mana for welcoming their first son, Eissa Al Mana. Janet is 50 years old.
Pink also added a special addition to her family. She gave birth to Jameson Moon Hart December 26, 2016. Pink and husband Carey Hart already has a daughter.
It did not take long for drama to ensue in the first week of 2017. Our favorite shit starter Chris Brown has been embroiled in “Twitter/IG beef” apparently with Soulja Boy for liking one of Karreuche Tran’s pictures on Instagram. As we all know Karreuche is the ex-girlfriend of Chris.
It did not stop there, when Karreuche added her 2 cents, Chris went in on her:
Big drama and controversy also ensued when gospel great Kim Burrell went on a tirade attacking the LGBT community in a sermon that she preached, which also took aim at Bishop Eddie Long.
In the fiery sermon Kim tells the congregation,
“I came to tell you about sin. That sin nature. That perverted homosexual spirit, and the spirit of delusion and confusion, it has deceived many men and women, and it’s caused us pain on the body of Christ.”
“You as a man, you open your mouth and take a man’s penis in your face, you are perverted… You are a woman and will shake your face in another woman’s breast, you are perverted.”
“Watching Bishop Eddie Long go down to nothing is an embarrassment to the church.”
“Nobody would be thinking that you had aids if a homosexual man didn’t come out and reveal what you did behind closed doors.”
Kim Burrell was scheduled to appear on The Ellen Degeneres Show along with Pharrell to perform their song ‘I See a Victory’ from the Hidden Figures soundtrack. However, Ellen confirmed via Twitter that Ms. Burrell would not be performing.
Controversy is still brewing about Mariah Carey’s ill-fated New Year’s Eve performance on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest. Both sides have been going back and forth pointing the finger with Mariah ultimately feeling “sabotaged” by the Dick Clark’s production team. Now Mariah has fired creative-director Anthony Burrell from her team confirmed by E! News.
J. Cole broke the internet as news spread about the surprise release of his fourth album, 4 Your Eyez Only” dropping Dec. 9th. J. released a 40 min documentary called “Eyez” exclusively on TIDAL. The doc features a song believed to be on his album, called “False Prophets,” and the debates are heating up whether or not J. Cole is dissing Kanye West, Wale, or Drake….or all three.
According to Google, hackers have gained access to more than 1.3 million Google accounts — emails, photos, documents and more — by infecting Android phones through illegitimate apps.
That discovery comes from computer researchers at Check Point, a cybersecurity firm. The hackers have managed to steal digital “tokens” that give them access to Google services, like a person’s email and photo collection. But according to Google, hackers have not yet tapped that information and stolen it.
The massive hack appears to be a criminal enrichment scheme. Infected Android smartphones begin to install other, legitimate Android apps — then rate them highly. This fraudulently inflates their reputation, according to Check Point researchers.
Google has already removed the legitimate apps from its official store that have benefited from this ratings conspiracy, according to a blog post by Adrian Ludwig, the company’s director of Android security.
The malware also installs malicious advertising software that tracks users, a potential boon for data-hungry marketers.Google says it has blocked 150,000 versions of this kind of nasty cyberattack. But the problem persists. Another 13,000 devices are getting infected and breached daily, according to Check Point researchers who have been tracking this type of cyberattack since last year. They’ve nicknamed the hacking campaign “Gooligan.”
Check Point has set up a website — Gooligan.CheckPoint.com — for people to check if their devices have been hacked. (It requires you to enter your Google email address, gives you a response, and offers the company’s “ZoneAlarm” product.)
Alternatively, Android users could check to see if they have downloaded illegitimate versions of any of the apps listed at the bottom of this article. Smartphone owners are advised to only download certified computer programs from official repositories. Google has its Google Play store. Apple has its App Store. But some people insist on visiting unofficial app stores — typically on shady websites — because they offer free, counterfeit versions of popular apps.
“Not surprisingly, a malware, spread in unofficial markets, can create real damage,” said Zuk Avraham, the founder of another cybersecurity firm, Zimperium.
On Tuesday, Google stressed that users should avoid downloading outside of Google Play.
According to Check Point, here’s the list of potentially infected apps:
