B.Will is one of the most talented and pure hip-hop artists coming out of the DMV area. Born and raised in Southeast, his lyrics and content is based on a more worldly view as opposed to being limited to the content of the harsh environment he was raised in. As a single parent family member and the youngest of three children, he was forced to learn to survive and overcome adversity from an “end of the line” position. Now, his sole purpose is to provide and support his two sons and continue to share his thoughts, views, and his experiences with the world through his music.

As a artist, he displays a witty and thought provoking style full of heavy, hard hitting punch lines and gripping concepts. Growing up, B.Will’s hip-hop inspirations were artist such as Nas, Jadakiss, Beanie Sigel, 2 Pac, Kanye West, Bone Thugs N Harmony, and NWA. His range in musical artists has given him more of a diverse approach to beat selection, lyrics and flow. All in all B.Will is as well rounded and pure as it gets and his work makes for a great listen.

Wiz and Future Diss Amber Rose and Ciara in New Song “P***Y Overrated” ??

The Internet was buzzing last night after newly single rappers Wiz Khalifa and Future dropped a diss track seemingly aimed at their exes called ‘P***y Overated…’

On the track Wiz spits, “Rich ni**a get you/ he’ll never put nothing above you / every time I see you I don’t never want nothing from you,’ while Ciara’s baby daddy Future raps, “You supposed to f*ck me like a star/ girl you know you faking / yo pu**y overrated!”

Beating Victim Granted Restraining Order Against Keyshia Cole

Last month Keyshia Cole was accused of attacking a suspected love rival she found inside her boyfriend, Cash Money CEO Birdman’s, condo at 5am..

The victim in the attack has been granted a restraining order against the ‘Point of No Return’ singer. According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Sabrina Mercadel accuses Keyshia Cole of punching her in the face repeatedly, pulling her hair, scratching her face and throwing objects at her after gaining access to Birdman’s West L.A. condo last month.

Sabrina, who was one of several people inside the condo when Keyshia showed up, claims to be suffering neck and back pain and possible permanent damage to one of her fingers as a result of the attack.

Sabrina was granted a restraining order against Keyshia Cole requiring the singer to stay 100 yards away from her and prohibits any contact.

A couple days ago Angela Simmons posted theater tickets from an evening showing of ‘Gone Girl’ branding the antagonist a ‘crazy lady.’

That’s when Kevin reposted Angela’ review and said, “Some of us men go thru that in real life,” leading many to believe he was referring to his troubled relationships with Eva Marcille.

T.I. Makes Snoop Dogg Apologize to Iggy

After a phone call from Atlanta rapper T.I., Snoop Dogg apologizes to Australian rapper Iggy Azalea for roasting her over an open fire.  If you haven’t heard Iggy and Snoop were involved an a heated exchange of words through tweets and instagram memes.  It all started when Snoop posted this pic of Iggy:

Over the past few days Snoop Dog has been dragging Iggy Azalea through the mud and then abruptly changed his tune and apologized after talking to Iggy’s sponsor, T.I.

Phaedra Parks Confirms Divorce Rumors

Last month there were rumors that The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks was waiting until her husband Apollo Nida was tucked away safely in prison before filing for divorce.

Phaedra just confirmed her divorce plans…

Phaedra’s rep Steve Honig tells E! News exclusively,

“Mrs. Parks has retained an attorney with the intent of amicably ending her marriage.”

Phaedra’s husband Apollo is currently serving an 8 year prison sentence for identity theft and bank fraud.

Katy Perry Reportedly to Perform at Super Bowl XLIX Halftime Show

Sources have confirmed with Billboard that Katy Perry will hit the stage at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, when Super Bowl XLIX takes place on February 1, 2015.

Perry was one of three finalists, including Rihanna and Coldplay, that the NFL reportedly shortlisted for the big sporting spectacle. At the time, the National Football League also reportedly would ask artists to pay for the coveted halftime slot, after last year’s Super Bowl drew in a record-setting 111.5 million viewers and previous performers received a large boost in sales, touring, etc.

Nas’  “Time Is Illmatic” documentary is out now on Video On-Demand, and is currently being screened in theaters across the country, recently stopping at the Lincoln Theatre here in DC. Giving fans an inside look into the documentary, Hennessy caught up with the brains behind it all, writer Erik Parker and director One9. The pair talk about how the idea came about, persuading Nas to get on board with the project, and how it took over a decade to finish.

Seems like no one can escape controversy like the Carter family!  Jay Z and Beyonce have released a mini-trailer to possibly promote their upcoming tour, video, or actual mini movie which features the likes of Sean Penn, Don Cheadle, Guillermo Diaz, Emmy Rossum, Jake Gyllenhaal,Blake Lively, Rashida Jones,  and Kidada Jones.  The trailer see’s the married couple live out a “Bonnie and Clyde” kind of lifestyle, holding each other down against all odds.  This couldn’t have been perfect timing as this film was filmed months ago.  It seems to prove that no matter what people say they can kill all the negativity by getting back to the creative side and showing us the reason why they are loved so much.  Get into the mesmerizing clip below:
