Khloe Kardshian  has finally released a statement after her ex Lamar Odom’s hospitalization over the last several days.

“The past week has been incredibly difficult. I am so thankful to family, friends and fans, who have sent nothing but prayers and well wishes to Lamar,” the 31-year-old wrote on her website. Khloe had remained silent the entire time Lamar was hospitalized. It was just revealed that Lamar has been transported to a Los Angeles hospital and has been discharged from his Las Vegas hospital.

“I also want to take a moment to thank everyone at Sunrise Hospital, including the amazing doctors and nurses for their kindness and diligent work. Under their amazing care, incredible strides have been made,” Khloe continued.

“You can never be prepared for an experience like this, but without the outpouring of love and endless prayers that Lamar has received and the strength I was given from my loved ones, it would have been difficult to endure. Thank you for your continued support. God is great!!! XOXO, Khloé”

Taraji P. Henson, the break out star of the hit series “Empire,” is gracing the cover of ESSENCE magazine’s November 2015 issue.

Taraji told ESSENCE that “even though people are just now finding me as Cookie, thank God for Netflix because people are so moved by my performance they’re like, ‘Where has she been?’ I’ve always said I want to do the type of work that people study.”

“These kids are thinking they can do reality TV and come and do this craft that I studied, sweated and grinded,” says Henson. “People forget it’s a craft because it’s so pop now…Can they make me believe the words coming out of their mouth?”

The issue hits newsstands October 16th.

Lamar Odom is reportedly in critical condition after being found unconscious at the Love Ranch South in Nevada on Tuesday afternoon.

The 35-year-old basketball player has been airlifted to a Las Vegas hospital for treatment, according to TMZ.

Lamar checked into the ranch on Saturday and allegedly partied with girls for days. At one point, sources say he was seen taking an herbal substitute for Viagra.

When someone entered Lamar‘s hotel room on Tuesday, he was found in a state of unconsciousness and fluid was seen coming out of his mouth. He was taken to a local hospital and was not able to breathe on his own, so doctors had to intubate him.

Missy Elliott took the stage on Day 3 of the Essence Festival at New Orleans’ Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Saturday, July 4th. She also stopped by a private event that Solange was hosting which Beyonce and Kelly were also in attendance.

After a week behind bars, Rick Ross is a free man. The MMG mogul has been released from jail after posting $2 million bond.

He was arrested on June 24 and charged with kidnapping, aggravated battery, and aggravated assault. The arrest stemmed from an incident involving a confrontation between Ross and a groundskeeper at his home, formerly owned by Evander Holyfield. He allegedly pistol-whipped the man with a Glock 9MM pistol, causing injury to his jaw, neck, and teeth.

TMZ reported that during Ross’ bond hearing in Fayette County, Ga. on Wednesday the judge approved his release once he posted $2 million bond including $1 million equity from the ex-Holyfield mansion he owns and another local property, $500,000 surety bond (from a bail bondsman), and $500,000 in cash.

Ross’ attorney promised that the rapper would forfeit the entire Holyfield property to the county if he intimidates or threatens any witnesses.
