Once drama always drama, it seems that on or off camera the shade and the backbiting never ends. “Basketball Wives” stars Brooke Bailey claims Bambi put out a hit on her for somebody to beat up Brooke.  And she posted the proof.

Brook posted a message she received from a former friend of Bambi’s.  And it was a warning to Brooke to watch her back…because Bambi was recruiting young girls to beat up Brooke…for pay.

Brooke posted the above message from Bambo’s ex friend Starr and said:

On my turf I stay strapped and when I’m not in my streets I still got me!!! This is the lamest shit ever. Shout out to the young lady who sent me this. Your a leader and not a follower!!!! SMH!!!

She went on to say:

Carmelo Anthony Suspended 1 Game For Confrontation With Kevin Garnett (Video of Confrontation)

The NBA has suspended Carmelo Anthony the Knicks forward for one game without pay for “confronting” Kevin Garnett in Madison Square Garden after Monday night’s (January 7) game against the Boston Celtics.

“There are no circumstances in which it is acceptable for a player to confront an opponent after a game,” said Stu Jackson, NBA Executive Vice President Basketball Operations, in a statement. “Carmelo Anthony attempted to engage with Kevin Garnett multiple times after Monday’s game and therefore a suspension was warranted.”

The NBA contends that Melo attempted to confront KG in the tunnel, near the player’s locker room and in the parking lot. Yesterday, Anthony told reporters he didn’t do anything that warranted a suspension.

However, this morning, footage of Anthony and Garnett arguing loudly near the Celtics’ team bus was revealed (see below). Clearly the two players would have been doing more than just talking if their entourages and security had not been on hand.

The film centers on the real-life stories of Coretta Scott King (Angela Bassett) and Shabazz as they form an unbreakable life-long bond after their husbands’ tragic assassinations.

Kevin Garnett Talks Trash About LaLa

Two days ago Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Garnett got into a heated argument during the NY Knicks / Boston Celtics game and now it’s being reported that they were arguing over Carmelo’s wife LaLa.

According to Black Sports Online the reason they were fighting is because Kevin told Carmelo that LaLa tastes like Honey Nut Cherrios.

The slander was so serious that Carmelo waited outside the Celtics bus to finish the conversation but was held back by security from getting too close.

Beyoncé, James Taylor and Kelly Clarkson will perform the patriotic songs at the second inauguration of President Obama on Jan. 21, the inauguration committee will announce later today.

Beyoncé, who’s also starring at the Super Bowl halftime show next month, will sing the national anthem, always a tough tune to pull off well.

Taylor, the Sweet Baby James icon of ’70s folk-rock, will sing America the Beautiful.

And Clarkson, the first winner of American Idol (2002), will sing My Country, ‘Tis of Thee, the song with different lyrics but the same tune as the British national anthem. At the first Obama inaugural ceremony in 2009, soul diva Aretha Franklin sang it while wearing a memorable hat.

More announcements about entertainment at the inauguration are expected in coming days. All this will take place during the public swearing-in ceremonies on the Capitol steps, when President Obama delivers his second inaugural address before a crowd likely to top more than 1 million.

Obama will officially take the oath of office at the White House on Jan. 20, as per the Constitution, but the repeat swearing-in ceremony, the inaugural parade, the lunch with Congress and the inaugural balls will take place on Monday.

Chief Keef’s Stepbrother Gunned Down in Chicago

Chief Keef's Stepbrother Gunned Down in Chicago

The stepbrother of teen rapper Chief Keef was shot in the back of the head and killed last week in Chicago, according to local reports.

Ulysses Gissendanner III, 19, was gunned down last Wednesday near 124th Street and South Union Avenue, DNA Info reports. Gissendanner reportedly had been visiting his uncle in the West Pullman neighborhood when he was shot in a car.

Gissendanner, a rapper called ”YPN Boomtown,” is the stepson of Alfonso Cozart whose son is Chief Keef, aka Keith Cozart. The family said they don’t think Gissendanner’s ties to the rapper spurred the shooting, and Keef’s lawyer told DNAinfo he has no relationship with his father or Gissendanner.

Keef recently released “Finally Rich,” a much-hyped album that sold about 50,000 copies in its first week. He was convicted last year of pointing a gun at a Chicago police officer and came under fire in September for joking on Twitter about the shooting death of an 18-year-old rival rapper, Joseph “Lil JoJo” Coleman. He later claimed his Twitter account was hacked.

Keef moved to Northbrook late last year.  Gissendanner is the latest of several young local rappers shot and killed in the past several months. Joshua Davis, 18, was shot to death on Christmas night in Chicago after an altercation with several males on a CTA bus, police said. Officials said the group followed Davis off the bus, and one of the men shot him several times in the torso and once in the ear.

The family of the rapper said they believe his hooded sweatshirt honoring Lil JoJo led to his death.

JAZMINE

We haven’t heard much from songstress Jazmine Sullivan since she gracefully stepped out the limelight via Twitter in 2011. Mariah Carey Opens up about Feud with Nicki Minaj (Video)

mariah-barbara-nightline

Barbara Walters visited Mariah Carey at her New York apartment ahead of the January 16 premiere of “American Idol.”  She opened up about her claims that the rap diva Nicki Minaj threatened violence against her, her whopping $18 million paycheck, and her family.  According to Mariah, she and Nicki have settled their differences, at least for now.

The full interview will air tonight at 11:35 p.m. EST on “Nightline.”

On her feud with Nicki Minaj: “It felt like an unsafe work environment.  Anytime anybody’s reeling threats at somebody, you know, it’s not appropriate.  I’m a professional. I’m not used to that type of environment.”

On feeling unsafe: “Sitting there on the road with two babies, I’m not gonna take any chances, so yeah, I did hire more security.”

On how it will affect “Idol”: “For all the drama, I hope it helps the show.  I think it’s a classic, classy show and it didn’t need this.”

On her reported $18 million salary: “I think we’re in the ballpark, but I can’t even talk about these things.”

On her daughter Monroe: “I call her Miss Monroe, and that kind of dictated her personality.  She’s a total diva.  She’s fascinated by jewelry, chandeliers, all these things.”

On her son Moroccan: “He’s my pal.  He’ll just watch movies with me. We’ve watched Shrek I don’t know how many times. We watch movies all the time together, relax. He’s more chill.”

On Nick Cannon: “He’s just as festive as I am.  I’m very, very festive, and he kind of almost trumps me there.”

On Nick’s health scare last year: “It was very serious, but he’s got some great doctors who really got in there and helped him out and at this point he is doing great.  He’s better than ever.”
