In addition to Jay Z’s “gold sippy cup” speech and Pharrell’s fashion statement, there were plenty of other Twitter-worthy moments that were not televised during Sunday’s Grammys.

After performing “Drunk in Love,” a proud Jay Z walked backstage with one hand around Beyoncé. The couple showed PDA while seated in the front row. They also met up with Robin Thicke and his wife Paula Patton, as well as Pharrell, who bowed in Bey’s presence.

With a glass of cognac in hand, Jay celebrated his wins with Kendrick Lamar and Pharrell. Two-time Grammy winner Lorde was all smiles as she posed for pics with Beyoncé and Taylor Swift.

Fantasia Advises Women to Run Away From Married Men (Video)

Fantasia guest hosted on The View yesterday and the subject of dating married men came up.  The ladies were discussing the episode of Being Mary Jane where Mary, portrayed by Gabrielle Union, is confronted by her lover’s wife.

Speaking of cheating spouses Fantasia advised,

“If you’re going to go into a new situation, there’s no need to take the old baggage with you regardless of what they had going on. But if that is the situation, run, run, fast as you can, can’t catch me I’m the Gingerbread Man!”

OutKast Confirmed to Perform at Coachella 2014

 OutKast will officially reunite at the Coachella Music & Arts Festival. Big Boi and André 3000 will headline the 2014 festival, which will take place back-to-back weekends on April 11-13 and April 18-20 in Indio, Calif.

Arcade Fire and Muse will also headline, while other performers include Nas, Pharrell, Kid Cudi, Solange, Lorde, Chance the Rapper, A$AP Ferg, Jhené Aiko, and many more.

 

Saturday Night Live Handles its Diversity Issue

Back in October legendary comedy sketch show Saturday Nigh Live got called out for not hiring any Black female cast members since Maya Rudolph left the show in 2007.  Saturday Night live just added Sasheer Zamata to the cast. Sasheer graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in drama.  Sasheer debuts on SNL on Jan. 18.

DC’s own Ev’ryday Black Band releases the visuals for their first single “So Fresh,”  which has been creating a lot of buzz for the Hip-Hop-Soul band.  Shot and recorded at DC’s Listen Vision studios last Summer, the video takes a look at the behind the scenes, in studio session as Dre Black and J-Ev’ryday lay down their vocals for the track.  “So Fresh” is Ev’ryday Black street anthem about looking and staying fly. One of their most braggadocios songs to date see’s Dre Black label dropping, and stating “if it ain’t got a label, then that just won’t do;” however the song was written in good fun.  The men of Ev’ryday Black are really not materialistic at all, but had to embody the boldness and go-go flavored tune to enhance the swag heavy track.  Get into “So Fresh” below:

Beyonce Releases 5th Installment of Behind the Scenes of BEYONCÉ F/ Justin Timberlake

Beyonce released her 5th and final installment of her mini-documentary outlining the process and creation of her #1 album BEYONCÉ. In the latest video Bey is seen in the studio with Justin Timberlake, Pharell, and Timberland as she recorded her sexy tune “Rocket.” The heavyweight producers can be seen in awe as they watch and listen to Beyonce record the track and praise her vocals.  This is Beyonce’s 5th consecutive #1 album, and it has already sold 1.3 million copies in the U.S. alone.  She could be aiming for a 4th week at #1 when the Billboard Charts are released this Thursday.

Tyrese celebrated his 35th birthday in Dubai with Maxwell and Will &  Jada Pinkett-Smith.  He posted a pic with “Fast and Furious” co-star Vin Diesel on Instagram.  “Here we go!!!!!! My brother Vin is coming to Dubai … Were gonna finish shooting #Fast7 here!!! …… Get your best cars ready were looking for you.!!! Vrooooomm!!!!”  Look like good times over in Dubai!!
