Rita Ora Sues JAY Z!!

Rita Ora is suing her label Roc Nation and owner Jay Z for stifling her career according to Billboard.

In a complaint filed in Los Angeles,  the singer claims that she was “orphaned” by the imprint when it shifted its focus to sports
management and other endeavors.
“When Rita signed, Roc Nation and its senior executives were very involved with her as an artist,” the complaint reads. “As Roc Nation’s interests diversified, there were fewer resources available and the company suffered a revolving door of executives. Rita’s remaining supporters at the label left or moved on to other activities, to the point where she no longer had a relationship with anyone at the company.”

August Alsina new album “This Thing Called Life,” hit stores yesterday.  Now today, August releases the visuals to his emotional 2nd single “Song Cry.”

The video was directed by Payne Lindsey.  To promote the album, August has announced a series of  in-store signings this month in New York, Atlanta, Baltimore, Washington, DC, Chicago, and Houston.

Rihanna Holds 2nd Annual ‘Diamond Ball’

Rihanna held at her 2nd annual Diamond Ball, which took place at Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, Calif.

 The charity event, held in honor of her Clara Lionel Foundation, featured a performance from Lionel Richie and was hosted by comedian Kevin Hart.
“I’m personally donating $50,000 out of the Kevin Hart back pocket,” said Hart. The auction intended to raise at least $2 million, the amount reached last year, and managed to surpass its goal and hit the $3 million mark.

FETTY WAP AND MASIKA KALYSHA ARE EXPECTING A BABY

Fetty Wap  allegedly has a bundle of joy on the way by Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood’s” Masika Kalysha.

The reality TV star spoke with Power 106’s “The Cruz Show” about her pregnancy, stating that she’s six months along.

“The song I did with Fetty, ‘Andale,’ ladies be very careful when you listen to this song because we conceived a child that night,” she said.

However,  Fetty isn’t so sure he’s the father. He took to Twitter earlier today in a since-deleted tweet to denounce Kalysha’s claims, writing, “Bitches posting pics now the world going crazy , she need a come up I understand that career looking bad.”
Masika has yet to respond.

Willow Smith Releases Surprise Debut Album <i>Ardipithecus</i>

Willow Smith has released her debut album ARDIPITHECUS, named after the first hominid bones found on Earth.

The alternative project, which arrives via Roc Nation, features 15 tracks, featuring such songs like  “Why Don’t You Cry” and “F Q–C #8.”
She stated, “I can’t express how relieved I am to finally give my Light Eaters my most recent inner excavation,” said Willow. “This is just the beginning.”

New Details Emerge From the Jelani Maraj Rape Case

Last week fans were shocked after news leaked that rapper Nicki Minaj’s 37-year-old brother Jelani had been accused of raping a 12 year-old girl.

Chilling new details from the case have leaked.

From Bossip:

Nicki Minaj’s older brother last raped his 12-year-old victim the day before he was arrested, according to his felony complaint.

Jelani Maraj had been abusing the girl for several months, and last violated her on the evening of Nov. 30. Cops arrested him the following day, court papers said.

“…From about April 1, 2015 until November 30, 2015, the defendant, Jelani Maraj, engaged in a course of sexual conduct against a child,” Maraj’s heavily redacted felony complaint states. “He engaged in these acts with the victim, while knowing (she) was less than 13 years old.”

That means the alleged abuse occurred before, during and after his September wedding to his now wife, Jacqueline.

Maraj, 37, was arrested Dec. 1 after the alleged 12-year-old victim revealed he’d been abusing her since April. Maraj has been charged with felony sexual conduct against a child in the first degree, and first degree rape, also a felony. If he’s convicted, he faces up to 50 years in prison.
