Andre 3000 Blocked Big Boi From Appearing On Frank Ocean’s “Pink Matter”

Atlanta rap group Outkast has been on hiatus since their 2003 Grammy Award winning album Speakerboxxx/The Love Below. Fans have been waiting for Andre 3000 and Big Boi to reunite on a track almost had it on Frank Ocean‘s “Pink Matter.” However, Andre 3000 wasn’t having that.

The less eccentric half of Outkast, Big Boi, recently spoke to Rap Radar‘s Elliott Wilson about being kept from appearing on Frank Ocean’s debut album. Big Boi says Andre 3000 blocked him from adding a verse to “Pink Matter” because he didn’t want Outkast’s reunion song to be on anyone else’s project. Apparently, this isn’t the first time 3 Stacks has shut Big Boi out of contributing a verse to a song. Big Boi tweeted that Andre 3000 was the cause for him not appearing on T.I.s upcoming album.

Rumors?? Beyonce Wants Split with Matthew Kept Private in Lawsuit

Beyonce is being sued by a video game company for breach of contract and the company wants to know when Beyonce and her father Mathew Knowles stopped working together, but Beyonce is fighting tooth and nail against letting the information get out.

From The Hollywood Reporter:

The videogame company suing Beyonce Knowles-Carter for allegedly walking away from a multi-million dollar deal to produce a game is demanding sensitive documents the singer wants kept private.

Plaintiff Gate Five is attempting to pursue documents describing Beyonce conversations with third parties, including Music World Artist Management, run by Beyonce’s father Mathew Knowles, who used to be her manager, and a man named Desiree Perez, who is said to be an employee at the New York’s 40/40 club, owned by the singer’s husband Jay-Z…

…For instance, on the subject of Music World, Beyonce’s camp insisted in one e-mail last May that the agency no longer represents the singer. Gate Five’s attorneys responded that it wants to see the documents to see “whether that was Music World’s understanding.”

Beyonce attorneys write that any requests for documents tied to Music World are “vague, overbroad, and entirely irrelevant to any issues in this case.”

The question of what documents need to be turned over is now in the judge’s hands.

Chris Brown Involved in Bar Fight Over VIP

The other night in Cannes Chris Brown got into a brawl with security when they wouldn’t let him in VIP…

From NY Daily News

A source tells the Daily News the 23-year-old singer got into a heated argument at Gotha Nightclub in Cannes on Wednesday night with club security when he discovered his table wasn’t in the upstairs VIP area.

The eyewitness says as soon as Brown arrived at Gotha with an entourage of about 20 men and 10 women, including girlfriend Karrueche Tran, the scuffle began. The group, led by fellow musician Barry (Mijo) Bradford, walked up the stairs to the VIP area with some “huge bodyguards, and Brown right behind them, thinking that’s where their table would be,” says the insider.

Two security guards belonging to the club, however, blocked them, and Bradford became “angry and started punching and shoving the security. Then Chris and his bodyguards got involved and they were pushing and screaming at each other.”

The eyewitness in the VIP area says extra security was called in and even Paris Hilton’s private security — the heirhead was also partying at Gotha — stepped in to break up the fight. Finally, Brown and Bradford’s group was convinced to go to the table downstairs, where Brown began happily dancing on top of the couch and drinking Champagne straight from the bottle.

This Time It’s Really Over!! No More EnVogue

Don’t you hate when groups you didn’t even know where still together break up? Dawn Robinson from EnVogue announced rather rudely on Twitter the other day that she and Maxine were leaving the group and rehearsing for a tour of their own…

Dawn’s Twitter outburst prompted this response from Cindy and Terry on EnVogue’s official Facebook page,

“Dear EnVogue fans,

In regards to the recent twitter and face book posts alleging that Terry and Cindy have replaced Maxine Jones with Rhona, we would like to respond. Terry and Cindy are not replacing Maxine Jones. We have however asked Rhona to fill in temporarily so that we can continue to bring live shows to our fans. Thus far, Rhona has only done three shows with us since June 2012. The group has always added someone whenever a member has been unable or unwilling to perform or has left the group. Terry and I have not kicked Maxine out of the group. There are always two sides to a story and many internal facts that you the fans aren’t hearing about. In an effort to not air dirty laundry, or appear to point the finger at anyone, we respectfully choose to remain silent on the internal issues. We appreciate you the fans continuing to support Envogue individually, and as a whole.

Thank you,

Cindy and Terry

Prince Michael Blast Janet Jackson and Other Family Members

As you all have heard the Jackson Family drama continues to boil as family members come forward to share their side of the story.  Well Prince Michael (15), the eldest of  Michael Jackson kids, had a statement of his own. He released a letter via Twitter along with a damning text message.

I would first like to start off this tweet by thanking the fans that have always stood by me and my family, my dad really appreciated your support and I still treasure it to this day. As I am sure everyone is well aware of the events that have been going on. I have been holding off on backing up my sister and her tweets avidly because I was waiting for the time to reveal my side. As long as I can remember my dad had repeatedly warned me of certain people and their ways. Although I am happy my grandma was returned, after speaking with her I realized how misguided and how badly she was lied to. I’m really angry and hurt. The following image is of a group chat I had started to several family members. This group text message I had started was replied to but they didn’t know that I could see the responses. For this whole time, they denied us contact to our grandmother. “If you continue with your lies I will continue with the truth”

MiMi Refutes Stevie J and Joseline Engagement Claims

Mimi Faust called into TT Torrez’s iPower 92 radio show where she dished on her “baby daddy” Stevie J and his side piece, Joseline Hernandez.  Mimi revealed that she learns more and more about baby daddy Stevie J on Monday nights at the same time the fans do.  She added that she met Joseline right before taping and had no knowledge about the extent of her relationship with Stevie J.  In fact, she said that still to this day, “He tells me that’s just his artist.  We getting money.”  And when asked if Stevie J. and Joseline were getting married, a very animated Mimi said, “Oh God come on….stop it!”

Forward to 15:44 to hear her comments about alleged “engagement.”

Jennifer Williams Drops Her Lawsuit

Could Basketball Wives Jennifer Williams be trying to woo her way back onto the show?

Unconfirmed rumors suggest Jennifer Williams was not being asked back for another season of Basketball Wives after she filed a lawsuit against Evelyn Lozada’s assistant, Nia Crooks, for slapping her face during an episode of the show.

Now, after a rough summer of having her Bentley repossessed and her estranged husband Eric’s secret baby put on blast, Jennifer decided she’s just had enough and has dropped the suit without settlement.

Love and Hip Hop Producer Denies Show Is Scripted

I don’t know about you, but for me Love and Hip Hop Atlanta is  just a ratchet version of All My Children. Now LHHA producer Mona Scott-Young ruins the illusion by disputing long standing rumors that the show is scripted.

Mona tells MTV Rap Fix Live,

“We don’t feed you information. It’s not scripted. That’s the most ridiculous thing that I hear all the time. There are like 40-something people on set. Do you think I can get them all to keep the secret? What do they do with script afterwards, eat it? This is their lives!”

and as for the notion she’s promoting negative images Mona says,

“[These people] have every right to tell their stories. I think they’re valid stories, and judging by the numbers, they’re stories that people want to see and hear about. But if this is not your cup of tea, there are other great shows on other networks that you may view as well.”
