A couple days ago Angela Simmons posted theater tickets from an evening showing of ‘Gone Girl’ branding the antagonist a ‘crazy lady.’
That’s when Kevin reposted Angela’ review and said, “Some of us men go thru that in real life,” leading many to believe he was referring to his troubled relationships with Eva Marcille.
Last month there were rumors that The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks was waiting until her husband Apollo Nida was tucked away safely in prison before filing for divorce.
Phaedra just confirmed her divorce plans…
Phaedra’s rep Steve Honig tells E! News exclusively,
“Mrs. Parks has retained an attorney with the intent of amicably ending her marriage.”
Phaedra’s husband Apollo is currently serving an 8 year prison sentence for identity theft and bank fraud.
It seems that since Monday morning, where elevator footage of Solange attacking Jay Z surfaced the world has been entranced by the family drama that is the Knowles-Carter family. This headline was so huge that we didn’t hear to much about our Black girls missing….?? or other important worldly news. However, I hope we can all put our theories to rest about what we think happened, I’ve heard some interesting stuff…But I can’t help to think what about if that was our family and private issues among family became public for everyone to speculate or judge the situation? At the end of the day even though they are the mega superstars that they are, they’re still human and have to answer to God just like everyone else. NEW YORK (AP) — Jay Z, Beyonce and Solange say “families have problems and we’re no different” after a video leaked of Beyonce’s sister attacking the rap mogul in a hotel elevator.
In an exclusive statement to The Associated Press on Thursday, the trio said they have worked through their differences and moved on since a video emerged this week showing Solange kicking Jay Z as Beyonce looked on.
“As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it,” the statement said. “Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family.”
It was the first comment the performers had made since the website TMZ posted the three-minute video on Monday, saying it was shot last week inside the Standard Hotel in New York City. The video, which does not have audio, appears to show Solange attacking Jay Z in Beyonce’s presence; a security guard intervenes. The footage shows the performers in the outfits they wore to the Met Gala.
“The reports of Solange being intoxicated or displaying erratic behavior throughout that evening are simply false,” the statement continued. “At the end of the day families have problems and we’re no different. We love each other and above all we are family. We’ve put this behind us and hope everyone else will do the same.”
The hotel said Wednesday it had fired the person who recorded the video.
Beyonce and Jay Z were married in 2008.

Earlier this week it was reported that Master P’s estranged wife Sonya was seeking a $67 million divorce settlement after 24 years of marriage. Sonya and Master P’s son Romeo doesn’t think she deserves It.
In an impromptu interview Romeo tells TMZ,
Honestly, I love my mom to death, but I mean — we gotta just work out some things. She gotta be a better parent, y’know.”
Now we know what happens to Harrison in the season cliff hanger of Scandal. Columbus Short confirms he will not be returning to the blockbuster series. In a statement to the media Columbus explains,
“At this time I must confirm my exit from a show I’ve called home for 3 years, with what is the most talented ensemble on television today. I would like to first thank Shonda Rhimes for the opportunity to work with such an amazing cast. Thank you GLADIATORS, who have supported me throughout my entire career and of course to ABC and Shondaland for allowing me to play such a pivotal role in the Scandal series. I have enjoyed every single minute of it. Everything must come to an end and unfortunately the time has come for Harrison Wright to exit the canvas. I wish nothing but the best for Shonda, Kerry and the rest of the cast, who have become like a second family to me in such a short amount of time. For this, I will forever be grateful.”
Over the past few weeks Columbus Short has been involved in a series of violent and bizarre incidents including sucker punching a bar patron, threatening to kill his wife and calling Tom Joyner a nigga live on the radio for asking him about his recent legal issues.
Last week rapper Game was slapped with a restraining order and banned from having any contact or coming within 100 feet of his baby mama Tiffney Cambridge.
Details from their initial confrontation have leaked and they are not pretty.

Cambridge says in her docs the fight turned so violent, a table broke, injuring both kids. She says their 3-year-old daughter yelled for help because her leg was bleeding … and Game got even more ferocious when Cambridge went to help her.
According to the docs, he told Cambridge, “Move the f*** out the way” and called her a bitch while tearing her clothing and repeatedly hitting her torso with his closed fist. She claims he also yelled, “I will end it all.”
Cambridge says after the fight … Game refused to let her leave … telling the children that if Mommy called police, both Mommy and Daddy would go to jail.
She says Game eventually allowed her to take the kids and go. She went to the hospital the next day, where she says she learned her nose was broken.
Over the weekend Mary J. Blige’s father was stabbed in the neck by his former girlfriend during a domestic dispute. The girlfriend has been charged with attempted murder.

A woman accused of stabbing the father of singer Mary J. Blige has been arraigned on a charge of attempted murder.
A judge set $500,000 bond Friday for Cheryl White of Battle Creek. Police say she stabbed 63-year-old Thomas Blige in the neck Thursday outside his Battle Creek apartment. He’s in critical condition at a Kalamazoo hospital.
Police say Blige was attacked while confronting White, who was deflating his vehicle tires. Defense attorney Jeff Schroder says self-defense will be White’s likely defense.
Schroder tells the Battle Creek Enquirer that White and Blige had dated for five years.
Over the weekend news broke that Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Park’s husband Apollo Nida had been arrested for bank fraud and identity theft.

Alexandre Herrera, a U.S. Secret Service Agent in the Counterfeit and U.S. Treasury Check Squad, in a written affidavit, charged that Nida created fake companies, enabling him to access databases to find individuals to rip off. He opened fake bank accounts under those real names and funneled stolen U.S. Treasury checks and auto loan proceeds into those accounts.
The agent in February 2012 began investigating alleged criminal activities of Gayla St. Julien, who he said was opening bank accounts under stolen identities to commit bank and check fraud. The investigation ran until September, 2013. At that point, they found 40 bank accounts tied to her. The complaint provided a sampling of bank accounts totaling about $3 million tied to alleged fraudulent activities.
The office also identified two fake debt-collection businesses used to “illicitly obtain personal identifying information of individuals.” The companies used LexisNexis and Equifax database inquiries to steal identities. St. Julien was arrested on Sept. 11, 2013 by the Secret Service. She implicated Nida as the man who orchestrated many of the alleged fraudulent schemes. She had worked with Nida since 2009.
St. Julien “described herself as NIDA’s ‘right hand b****’ in executing the legwork of his fraud schemes,” Herrera wrote. She told him she received “scraps” compared to how much he pocketed. Nida would allegedly steal real people’s identities and have St. Julien pretend to be them to open bank accounts. She would then deposit fraudulent auto loan checks, stolen U.S. Treasury checks, stolen retirement checks issued to Delta Airlines employees, and checks in the names of real people that were owed unclaimed property from various state and federal government agencies, according to the criminal complaint.
He also opened a fake auto dealership (such as Ferrari Autohaus) and apply for auto loans in the names of stolen identities. After the arrest, the agents had St. Julien tape record conversations with Nida in which he explained many of his schemes. At one point, they obtained a federal search warrant of Nida’s vehicle and seized evidence, including a bank debit card in the name of Ferrari Autohaus Inc., cell phones and a laptop computer.
Nida was previously imprisoned from 2004 to 2009 for breaking federal racketeering laws related to auto title fraud. He married Parks, an attorney, in 2009 and they have since had two children.
The U.S. District Judge Gerrilyn G. Brill released Nida on a pretrial bond of $25,000. A preliminary hearing is set for Feb. 12, 2014.
Apollo has lashed out after taking heat online.
Despite his four wins at Sunday’s Grammys, Macklemore is feeling remorse. The “Thrift Shop” rapper admits that his competitor Kendrick Lamar was robbed of his awards and is bearing the blame.
Macklemore & Ryan Lewis scored four awards including Best Rap Album, Best Rap Song, and Best New Artist, while Kendrick went home empty-handed, sparking outrage among hip-hop fans.
After the ceremony, Macklemore sent a heartfelt text to Kendrick, who was shut out of all seven of his categories.
“You got robbed. I wanted you to win. You should have. It’s weird and sucks that I robbed you,” wrote the Seattle rapper. “I was gonna say that during the speech. Then the music started playing during my speech and I froze. Anyway, you know what it is. Congrats on this year and your music. Appreciate you as an artist and as a friend. Much love.”
He shared the text on Instagram, along with the following note:
“My text to Kendrick after the show. He deserved best rap album… I’m honored and completely blown away to win anything much less 4 Grammys. But in that category, he should have won IMO. And that’s taking nothing away from The Heist. Just giving GKMC it’s proper respect.. With that being said, thank you to the fans. You’re the reason we were on that stage tonight. And to play Same Love on that platform was a career highlight. The greatest honor of all. That’s what this is about. Progress and art. Thank you. #grammys.”
Other rappers including ScHoolboy Q, Q-Tip, Mac Miller, and Meek Mill weighed in on Kendrick’s snub.
“Congrats 2 @macklemore for a incredible win and I believe Kendrick was robbed,” tweeted Meek. “This game was never fair….and awards can’t change the judgement of the culture…. I fucks wit Macklemore for this text….. Most of these awards are always fucked up!”
Kendrick was definitely robbed he had one of the best albums of 2013 period!!!! However, I respect the grind and the game-changing album by Macklemore and their whole independent movement, but that no way should have taken away from the powerful yet lyrical album by Mr. Lamar!!!
Kanye West stopped by Power 105′s “The Breakfast Club” and SiriusXM’s “Sway in the Morning” on Tuesday, but only one radio show got him heated.
“I’m standing up and I’m telling you, I am Warhol,” said ‘Ye. “I am the number one most impactful artist of our generation. I am Shakespeare in the flesh.
