“It was unfortunate, because we used to be really good friends. We let the media get in the way and speak for us, and we weren’t speaking to each other.”

“We’re good now. Nobody wants to fight with an old friend. It’s not cute, and it doesn’t reflect our character. Don’t get me wrong: I am feisty, but I’m not catty.”

New Shoes: Nike SB Dunk, “Yellow Curb”

Nike SB Dunk Low Premium “Yellow Curb.”

One of the more intriguing features on this shoe is the incorporation of elephant print. This texture is rarely used on Nike SB releases with the “Supreme” Nike SB Dunks being the most notable. Elephant print is smothered in embossed leather and appears on the toe area and heel panel; the latter area also contains a patent leather covering. The shoe’s overall makeup draws inspiration from the slippery curbs that skaters grind on. Other features include mesh on the toe box and grip tape on the side panels.

Nelly releases “5.0,” after his failed “Brass Knuckles” was released Nelly went back to the drawing board and found a Top Ten Billboard hit with “Just A Dream.”  Let’s see how he impacts on the chart next week.

Rihanna drops her 2nd CD within the year, “LOUD.”  She recently scored her 8th #1 hit with “What’s My Name” f/ Drake, and her first single “Only Girl,” sits comfortably at #3 on the Hot 100.  I guess Rihanna’s hasn’t quite let go of her reign just yet.  It will be interesting to see her first week numbers next week.

Vick & Eagles Deliver 59-28 BEATING to McNabb & Redskins

Last nights game between Philly and Washington, was a complete disaster for the Redskins.  As a die hard fan, I was totally disgusted in how we played last night.  However, Vick did his thing!! He played like a true Pro. It was exciting to see him at his best, because so many counted him out.  Unfortunately, it was against my home team the Redskins. 

In fact, in the 90 year history of the NFL, before last night, no player had ever done what Vick did, accumulating at least 300 yards passing, 50 yards rushing, four passing TDs and two rushing TDs in one game.

It comes down to this. In the wake of former Eagles quarterback, Donovan McNabb’s $78 million dollar, 5 year extension with the Redskins, we’re thinking hey, the wrong guy got the money.
