THE TEN COOLEST SHIRTS SUPPORTING JAPAN
WOULD AALIYAH AND BEYONCE BE NECK TO NECK IF SHE WAS STILL LIVING?? GINUWINE THINKS SO…..
“Aaliyah was in a class by herself,” Ginuwine tells The BoomBox. “If you’re talking triple threat of a writer, singer and actress, that would probably be Beyoncé. If Aaliyah were still here, she and Beyoncé would be neck and neck.”
I would have to agree with that I’ve had many conversations about this!!
MEAGAN GOOD PRODUCES AND STARS IN NEW MOVIE ‘VIDEO GIRL’
Actress, Meagan Good will take a turn behind the cameras, producing and starring in “Video Girl,” a film about the life of a “video girl”. The film will star such highly esteemed video stars such as Melyssa Ford and Esther Baxter plus Hollywood socialites like Claudia Jordan. It will open April 29th in limited theaters. Last year, Meagan told VIBE. com about the project:
“I just produced a film that should be out by the end of the year called Video Girl. It’s very much like Gia––the HBO film Angelina Jolie did for HBO. It’s not the Karrine Steffans story. It’s about a very unassuming girl from a small town who used to be a professional dancer until she gets a knee injury. So she’s in a place where she’s trying to figure out what she wants to do professionally. She gets hooked into the video-modeling world, develops a drug habit and really gets caught up in the limelight.”

YOUNG BUCK OWES OVER $11 MILLION
Rapper Young Buck faces claims that, according to reports, have reached $11.5 million; $10 million of which come from his former label, G-Unit. G-Unit Records has filed a $10 million claim against former artist Young Buck in the event that he breaches his contract with the label. Additionally, 50 Cent has filed a $171,000 claim against Young Buck for a loan he gave his former artist back in 2005.
Robin Mitchell Joyce, Buck’s attorney, blames 50’s G-Unit imprint and the deal they gave Buck for causing some of his financial woes.
“One of the biggest problems with Buck’s situation is not only that it’s so complex, but also that he didn’t understand it,” Joyce told The Tennessean. “The money went in and the money went out and Buck’s universe of knowledge about his financial state is a balance on an ATM receipt. … Buck never knew at one point, at several points, that he was a millionaire.”
Young Buck also faces 10 years in prison after a March 7th arrest on federal gun charges.

Report: Rihanna’s US Tour In Turmoil; Forced To Cancel Dates
Via New York Post / Sandra Rose:
Rihanna is having as tough a time selling concert tickets as she did last year. After her 2010 “Last Girl on Earth” tour hit problems with cancellations in Phoenix, Dallas, Atlanta, Denver and Indianapolis because of low ticket sales, it seems the pop princess still can’t pack an arena, even with new management from Jay-Z’s Roc Nation.
Sources say after poor US concert pre-sales last month, Rihanna has been advised by her day-to-day manager, Jay Brown, to cancel domestic dates on her “Loud” tour.
“It has been a big disappointment,” our source said. “The ticket sales in big US cities like Boston are so bad, they will barely cover basics like the lighting and other arena costs. Tour managers are begging local radio stations to do giveaways.”
Rihanna is scheduled to perform at T.D. Garden arena in Boston on July 24 with Cee Lo Green. Only 3,700 tickets have been sold, and sources on the tour say she needs to sell at least 15,000 to break even. They expect more than a half-million dollars in losses from the Boston concert alone.
Rihanna split from her first manager, Marc Jordan, who launched her career, over a disagreement after her 2010 tour. A rep for Jordan declined to comment.
Her new manager, Brown, who is part of Roc Nation, is preparing to make changes, sources say. The tour starts in June 4 in Baltimore and heads to Canada and then around the US before moving to England in August.
But an insider said, “She should’ve been doing theaters and smaller venues. She’s not ready to headline an arena tour.”
Sources say while the ticket sales are sluggish, Rihanna is demanding all of the bells and whistles to make it a blow-out show. “It’s the normal diva requests,” an insider said, “which is tolerated, when you make money.”
Reps for Rihanna and Roc Nation declined to comment.
