Celebs Gather To Celebrate 2Chainz’ Grammy Nod For Rap Album Of The Year
Tuesday night in Atlanta, Georgia, Moet & Chandon hosted a toast to 2Chainz at Vanquish Nightclub to celebrate his Grammy nomination.
It was a packed house of industry elite and tastemakers. The celebration was hosted by television/radio Personality Rashan Ali. A toast was given by Moet Hennessy Tulashi, as the packed house lifted their glasses and toasted to the hard work and success of 2 Chainz. 2 Chainz is in the running for a Grammy for Album of The Year, based off his album Based On A T.R.U. Story. The 55th Annual Grammy Awards will air live on CBS on February 10.

Yandy from Love and Hip Hop NY, Fiance Mandeeces Arrested For Outstanding Drug Warrants
Yandy Smith’s fiance Mendeecees is headed to trial today for alleged sexual assault against a 15-year-old girl, but he also turned himself in for outstanding drug warrant.
Via Democrat & Chronicle reports:
A sweeping investigation led to the federal criminal charges against the reality show star, Mendeecees Harris, who is already facing sexual abuse of a minor charges in New Jersey, records show.
Harris, who lives downstate, and others were originally indicted on the drug charges in the fall, according to records.
Authorities allege that the three trafficked $2.5 million worth of drugs between 2005 and August 2012.
While court records provide few details about the criminal case against Harris and his co-defendants, Ronald Walker and Tyrus Harris, the indictment shows that authorities have already seized more than $1.5 million from safety deposit boxes connected with the case.
Also seized was nearly $407,000 worth of jewelry and watches, including a $60,000 Rolex and another $35,000 Rolex.
Authorities are also pushing for the forfeiture of properties in Georgia and Baltimore.
Harris is also on trial for molestation charges and various other sexual assault charges against his former “Stepdaughter,” and faces the following charges:

Will Explains Why Willow Dropped Out of Annie
Last week it was announced that Willow Smith was no longer attached to the Annie remake being produced by her father Will Smith and Jay Z.
Over the weekend Will explained why Willow dropped out. While promoting Sister Soulja’s new book ‘A Deeper Love Inside: The Porsche Santiaga Story’ at Temple University, Will explained,
“In the past eighteen months, I have spent a lot of time focusing on the emotional aspect of my life and my family. In 2010, in one year, our family had the “Karate Kid”, we had “Whip my Hair”, we had Hawthorne, and at the end of the year, we did the Nobel Concert when Barack Obama won his Nobel Peace Prize. Don’t be clapping yet, that wears you out. The thing that had become very clear to me is the danger of a material world and focusing so hard on coming up with money or a house or a job. You focus so hard on those things, and sometimes you can lose focus on why you are doing it in the first place. The only reason to do any of that is to have love.”
“Willow was supposed to be doing “Annie”, we got Jay-Z to do the movie, got the studio to come in and Willow had such a difficult time on tour with “Whip my Hair” and she said, “You know Daddy, I don’t think so” and I said, “baby, hold up! I said no,no,no, listen, you’ll be in New York with all of your friends and Beyoncé will be there. You will be singing and dancing,” and she looked at me and said, “Daddy, I have a better idea, how about I just be 12.”
“I’m really learning through Willow the necessity that we have to snap ourselves back and refocus on the emotional needs of the people that we love. Someone’s emotional needs can be very very different from your dreams and what you think they should be doing and where they are supposed to be.”
Wiz Khalifa Plans To Help Amber Rose Deliver Their Baby At Home
Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose are gearing up to deliver an all natural birth at home. They recently gave an interview describing the process and preparation. Amber is due February 26th.
During a recent stop to Big Boy’s Neighborhood, her fiancé Wiz revealed:
It consists of her being in a whole lot of pain, with no medicine, she’s gonna thug it out. We are going to have a midwife and a doula at the crib. She’s going to be at the pool and it’s going to be a relaxing environment and when she ready she’s going to tell me when to stick my hands down there and pull the baby out.
Amber also revealed that she made the decision to do an at-home, all natural birth after viewing a documentary titled, “The Business of Being Born,” and that she’d prefer to deliver her baby the way women used to before there were hospitals:
He doesn’t like hospitals, I don’t like hospitals, we feel like that’s the place that people go when they die and I’m not sick. I feel like from the beginning of time women squatted and had their babies and that exactly what I want to do. I just want to go full throttle, I don’t want no medication. We take home birthing classes to teach us how to do it, and we’re gonna have our midwife and when the baby’s head comes out he’s gonna be Dr. Wiz. He’s gonna be the first person to touch the child. No doctors, no gloves.
Wiz also added:
It’s cool to learn about and then like learn about how important that connection is. I’m excited, I’m ready. I mean I’m nervous too, but it’s a good nervous, it’s not like a confused nervous like, “What do I do?”

Official Police Report: Frank Ocean: ‘I Was Called A F*ggot During Chris Brown Brawl / He Threatened To Shoot Me’
Today saw the official police documents on the attack, which reveal that the acclaimed singer Frank Ocean was not only the victim of a physical assault, but also on the receiving end of a homophobic slur by Chris Brown or someone in his entourage. Check the report below:

Chris Brown May Face Probation Violation
Prosecutors have asked a judge to revoke Chris Brown’s probation, saying there is no credible evidence he completed his community service sentence for beating Rihanna, and citing several other incidents that they say point to anger management issues.
The motion filed Tuesday by the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office focuses heavily on issues with Brown’s community labor in Virginia, citing numerous discrepancies and claiming the R&B singer essentially was unsupervised.
Brown’s attorney Mark Geragos blasted the filing, telling The Associated Press that it was frivolous and defamatory and he planned to seek sanctions against prosecutors.
The prosecution’s motion also notes several incidents in which Brown has lost his temper, including throwing a chair through a window after a “Good Morning America” interview in which he was asked about his beating of Rihanna on the eve of the 2009 Grammy Awards. The report also cites Brown’s Jan. 27 fight with R&B singer Frank Ocean, including Ocean’s claim that Brown threatened to shoot him in the brawl over a parking space.
Sheriff’s officials have said they are unlikely to seek charges against Brown for the recent fight with Ocean, since Ocean has posted online that he does not intend to seek criminal or civil penalties. Ocean told investigators that Brown shouted that he and his entourage “can bust on you too,” which authorities wrote was a street slang term for shooting someone.
Brown is due in court Wednesday for a probation hearing.
Allen Iverson is Officially Divorced, Put on Blast By Judge For Being an Alcoholic and Bad Parent
After a very long custody battle and extended divorce proceedings, Allen and Tawanna Iverson are officially free of each other, but the bruising battle put a lot of Allen’s personal demons on display.
In the final divorce decree, TMZ reports that the judge blasted Allen for being an alcoholic and his bad parent skills. It said,
“[Iverson] does not know how to manage the children; has little interest in learning to manage the children and has actually, at times, been a hindrance to their spiritual and emotional growth and development.
For example, he has refused to attend to an obvious and serious alcohol problem, which has caused him to do inappropriate things in the presence of the children while impaired.
He has left the children alone without supervision. He has left his young daughters in a hotel room with men who are unknown to the mother.”
