The 2013 BET Hip Hop Awards went down in Atlanta this past Saturday, September 28. Part of the weekend festivities was the green carpet festivities where artists get interviewed, pose for flicks and hopefully show off their good taste in fashion. A$AP Rocky dropped a music video for his latest single “Fashion Killa”, where he couples up with Rihanna and takes her shopping. The video was directed by A$AP Rocky and Virgil Abloh, and features a range of brands such as Supreme, Marc Jacobs, Saint Laurent, Versace, DKNY, and Hood by Air.

“Two or three Americans” participated in the attack on the Westgate Mall in Nairobi that has left at least 62 people dead and 175 injured, Kenyan Foreign Minister Amina Mohamed said. The Americans, aged between 18 and 19, of Somali or Arab origin, lived in Minnesota and one other place in the U.S, she said in an interview with PBS’ NewsHour.
A British woman was also among the alleged perpetrators tied to al-Shabab, the al Qaeda-linked rebel group that launched the attack on the upscale mall Saturday, Mohamed told PBS Newshour late Monday night.
She is the first official to allege publicly that U.S. nationals were involved in the attack. The FBI says it has been unable to verify that, and other Kenyan officials have said no women were involved, only men dressed as women. The FBI is preparing to deploy a full team to Nairobi to investigate the Westgate Mall terror attack, officials told ABC News. Agents are coming from a variety of places but the case is being led by the New York field office, which handles crimes against Americans that occur in Africa.
The FBI investigates crimes against Americans and U.S. interests overseas. The United States offered assistance to the Kenyan government soon after the assault began Saturday. Meanwhile, Kenyan authorities have claimed “full control” of the Westgate Mall in Nairobi as they sweep the shopping center for any remaining terrorists, hostages still in hiding and dead bodies.
“The West Gate Mall is under the full control of gov’t forces and we are carrying out a sweep to ensure its safe for everyone,” Kenyan police tweeted today on their official Twitter account.
U.S. officials estimate that as many as 50 Americans have been recruited to al-Shabab in the past six years, with more than half traced back to Minnesota’s growing Somali community.

Baltimore, Ravens wide receiver Jacoby Jones was hurt early this morning after a brawl erupted on a party bus filled with his Ravens teammates.
It happened after a night of partying in Washington D.C. celebrating Bryant McKinnie’s birthday.
Sources at the scene tell us … at about 3 AM, as people were leaving Opera Ultra Lounge, people on the bus began fighting. In addition to teammates, we’re told at least one stripper was on board.
One eyewitness tells us he saw a bottle being swung at Jacoby Jones — it connected with his head and hurt him. We’re told an ambulance was called “for a bleeding male” but he was not taken to the hospital.
Our sources say a stripper named Sweet Pea is the one who hit Jacoby with a gigantic Ace of Spades bottle and this may have triggered the brawl. We’re told the bottle smashed over his head and he was “bleeding everywhere.”
Earlier this month rapper Gucci Mane went on an epic Twitter rant blasting his peers in the music industry and claiming he slept with Nicki Minaj, Ciara, Monica, Keyshia Cole and Fantasia.
Yesterday Gucci reactivated his Twitter account [from jail] to apologize and announce he was going to rehab for Lean addiction.
Kerry Washington didn’t win the Emmy Award for Best Lead Actress in a Drama series for her role in Scandal but she did manage to get everyone talking. Whispers from the red carpet at the Emmy Awards yesterday is that the newlywed actress is pregnant with her first child.
No official word from Kerry but this is the same woman who didn’t announce her marriage to San Francisco 49ers cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha until nearly a month after tying the knot.
However; the media has officially put Kerry Washington on baby bump watch.
