Chris Brown Involved in Bar Fight Over VIP

The other night in Cannes Chris Brown got into a brawl with security when they wouldn’t let him in VIP…

From NY Daily News

A source tells the Daily News the 23-year-old singer got into a heated argument at Gotha Nightclub in Cannes on Wednesday night with club security when he discovered his table wasn’t in the upstairs VIP area.

The eyewitness says as soon as Brown arrived at Gotha with an entourage of about 20 men and 10 women, including girlfriend Karrueche Tran, the scuffle began. The group, led by fellow musician Barry (Mijo) Bradford, walked up the stairs to the VIP area with some “huge bodyguards, and Brown right behind them, thinking that’s where their table would be,” says the insider.

Two security guards belonging to the club, however, blocked them, and Bradford became “angry and started punching and shoving the security. Then Chris and his bodyguards got involved and they were pushing and screaming at each other.”

The eyewitness in the VIP area says extra security was called in and even Paris Hilton’s private security — the heirhead was also partying at Gotha — stepped in to break up the fight. Finally, Brown and Bradford’s group was convinced to go to the table downstairs, where Brown began happily dancing on top of the couch and drinking Champagne straight from the bottle.

New Music: J. Cole – ‘The Cure’

J. Cole prescribes “The Cure” with his brand new song. After debuting a new verse from “Chaining Day” earlier in the week, the Roc Nation rapper rhymes over Jay-Z, Kanye West, and Beyoncé’s “Lift Off” from Watch the Throne.

“Did you miss me? I know I missed you,” raps Cole, who hasn’t released much music since his debut Cole World: The Sideline Story last year.

New Music: Miguel – ‘Kaleidoscope Dream: The Water Preview’ EP

Miguel won over new fans with his Art Dealer Chic micro EPs, and now he’s ready to give them the next chapter. The L.A. singer has announced plans (via SPIN) for his sophomore album Kaleidoscope Dreams, which will be released in three parts. The first release, the three-song Kaleidoscope Dream: The Water Preview, features the single “Adorn” as well as two new songs, “Don’t Look Back” and “Use Me,” and will be available tomorrow on iTunes on July 31.

The second three-song EP, Kaleidoscope Dream: The Air Preview, will hit iTunes on September 11, while the final full-length album, simply titled Kaleidoscope Dream, will combine the two digital EPs with five new songs and is due in stores and online on October 2.

“I believe dreams represent the purest form of fantasy we unleash through our subconscious,” said Miguel, who collaborated with producers Salaam Remi, Pop & Oak, and Jerry Wonda on the follow-up to his 2010 debut All I Want Is You. “They represent the truest freedom we can experience. Totally unrepressed and totally creative.”

Kile Glover Laid to Rest

Family and friends gathered to say farewell to Kile Glover, who tragically passed away from injuries sustained in a jet ski accident.

Glover, the son of Usher’s ex-wife Tameka Foster, was declared brain dead after being struck by a water vehicle while floating in Georgia’s Lake Lanier earlier this month. He was put on life support and passed away on Saturday.

The funeral was held in his hometown of Atlanta on Friday morning, according to TMZ. His grief-stricken mother was photographed as her son was carried out of the church in a white casket to a nearby cemetery.

Friends of the family shared their love. “Precious Angel❤U are forever loved #RIPKile,” tweeted Monica.

On Friday, Foster thanked all those who sent their condolences. “I appreciate the hundreds, perhaps thousands of prayers,” she wrote. “I’m so grateful to you guys. Kile was the most fun, creative, sweet, respectful boy.”

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that all donations be made to the Kile Glover Fund at Bank of America. “Our goal to increase water safety- thru implementing laws, policies & education. Kiles passing will not be in vain, we will see to this,” said Foster.

This Time It’s Really Over!! No More EnVogue

Don’t you hate when groups you didn’t even know where still together break up? Dawn Robinson from EnVogue announced rather rudely on Twitter the other day that she and Maxine were leaving the group and rehearsing for a tour of their own…

Dawn’s Twitter outburst prompted this response from Cindy and Terry on EnVogue’s official Facebook page,

“Dear EnVogue fans,

In regards to the recent twitter and face book posts alleging that Terry and Cindy have replaced Maxine Jones with Rhona, we would like to respond. Terry and Cindy are not replacing Maxine Jones. We have however asked Rhona to fill in temporarily so that we can continue to bring live shows to our fans. Thus far, Rhona has only done three shows with us since June 2012. The group has always added someone whenever a member has been unable or unwilling to perform or has left the group. Terry and I have not kicked Maxine out of the group. There are always two sides to a story and many internal facts that you the fans aren’t hearing about. In an effort to not air dirty laundry, or appear to point the finger at anyone, we respectfully choose to remain silent on the internal issues. We appreciate you the fans continuing to support Envogue individually, and as a whole.

Thank you,

Cindy and Terry

Really Dude?? Drake Dubs Himself the First Successful Rapper/Singer

In a recent interview Drake declares himself the first rapper to successfully incorparate rapping and singing.

Interesting observation, Drake. Ever heard of gal called Lauryn Hill…?

Drake tells the The Jewish Chronicle

“There were people who incorporated melody before me, but I would deem myself the first person to successfully rap and sing.”

“Yes, there are aspects of it that are new in the rap world. But it’s not a gimmick. I just sort of exist and people embrace it. I’m one of the few artists who gets to be himself every day. It doesn’t take me six hours to get ready and I don’t have to wake up in the morning and remember to act like this or talk like this. I just have to be me. That’s one of the favourite parts of my life – I’ve done this purely by being myself.”

Prince Michael Blast Janet Jackson and Other Family Members

As you all have heard the Jackson Family drama continues to boil as family members come forward to share their side of the story.  Well Prince Michael (15), the eldest of  Michael Jackson kids, had a statement of his own. He released a letter via Twitter along with a damning text message.

I would first like to start off this tweet by thanking the fans that have always stood by me and my family, my dad really appreciated your support and I still treasure it to this day. As I am sure everyone is well aware of the events that have been going on. I have been holding off on backing up my sister and her tweets avidly because I was waiting for the time to reveal my side. As long as I can remember my dad had repeatedly warned me of certain people and their ways. Although I am happy my grandma was returned, after speaking with her I realized how misguided and how badly she was lied to. I’m really angry and hurt. The following image is of a group chat I had started to several family members. This group text message I had started was replied to but they didn’t know that I could see the responses. For this whole time, they denied us contact to our grandmother. “If you continue with your lies I will continue with the truth”

-Michael Jackson Jr.

Atlanta Funeral for Stepson Kile Set for Today

The 11-year-old son of Usher’s ex-wife Tameka Foster was taken off life support last weekend after a horrific July 6 jet-ski accident that left Glover brain-dead.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the funeral will take place at the Wieuca Road Baptist Church in Atlanta at 11 a.m. Friday morning.

“We know God’s in control and are leaning on our faith in Him and His word at this most difficult time,” the family said in a statement just after Glover’s accident. (A 15-year-old girl was also injured in the accident, though she’s expected to make a full recovery.)

Earlier this week, TMZ reported that the investigation into the driver of the jet-ski, family friend Jeffrey Hubbard, was ongoing, though charges have yet to be pressed against him.
