Keyshia Cole Caught in the Gucci Mane / Young Jeezy War

The beef between Gucci Mane and Young Jeezy heats back up with Keyshia Cole getting caught in the middle.

Gucci Mane and Young Jeezy have been at war ever since their 2005 disagreement over a track they did together called “So Icy”. So Icy was supposed to appear on Jeezy’s debut album “Thug Motivation 101” but ended up on Gucci’s independent release ‘Back to the Trap House’.

Later that year Gucci Mane was set up by a stripper and ambushed by five guys that ended with Gucci killing one of his assailants and subsequently being acquitted of murder.

It is widely believed that Jeezy was behind the set up.

Earlier this week Gucci Mane alluded to being set up by Jeezy on the Power 105 Breakfast Club radio show and called Jeezy a sucker. 

Jeezy responded on Power 106’s Big Boy’s Neighborhood and called Gucci ‘retarded’ and said Gucci is just mad because he won’t do another track with him.

And then last night Gucci dropped the diss track ‘Truth (Not a Jeezy Diss)’ getting at Young Jeezy while dragging Keyshia Cole in it.

In the track he spits,

Ain’t nothing retarded about Gucci but this gold Rolex/A $10,000 bounty put on my neck/ I hope you didn’t pay them cause they didn’t have no success/ You seen my interview nigga and you got upset/ I seen your interview too you looked oh so stressed/I think the nigga just mad cause I fucked his ex/ and I’m a big dog he got the little man complex/Go dig your partner up nigga I bet he can’t say shit/

In the second verse Gucci outs Keyshia and Puffy.

I did a song with Keyshia Cole/ and I know you still miss her/ but Puff was f*ckin’ her while you was falling in love with her/

Nelly Unaware of Rolling Stash House

Yesterday Nelly’s tour bus got pulled over at a border patrol check point in Sierra Blanca, Texas where a search turned up 36 packets of heroin, 10 pounds of weed and a loaded gun.

Nelly claims he had no idea there were drugs on his bus…

In a statement released yesterday Nelly says,

“It is my understanding a member of my staff made an unfortunate decision to bring unlawful materials onto our tour bus that resulted in his arrest this morning, October 11th. Neither I nor anyone else on the tour bus was aware of his decision to bring these on board. Law enforcement officials in Sierra Blanca, Texas did not press charges against anyone other than that individual.”

Nelly went a little deeper on Twitter explaining how the guy responsible was like family and that his heart went out to the guy’s wife and kids. 

Larry Johnson Officially Charged

Larry Johnson was arrested last week in Las Vegas for attacking a former girlfriend and tossing her out of his hotel room half dressed. Although Larry immediately denied the claims, apparently the D.A.found enough evidence to charge him… Larry Johnson has been charged with felony domestic battery and faces up to five years in prison and a $15,000 fine.

According to TMZ,

The GF told police … while Johnson was strangling her, she told him, “If you are going to kill me squeeze harder and just do it.”

The GF says she then blacked out and lost consciousness.

As for why he attacked her in the first place, the woman told police she and Johnson had been partying and drinking together when they went up to his room to “catch up.” But the GF claims LJ became enraged when they started talking about his daughter. She claims LJ snapped and began to “beat her and throw her around the room” and eventually choked her out.

According to the report, the GF told police she regained consciousness in a hotel hallway while dressed only in her underwear and a see-through blouse. The GF says she banged on doors until someone called for help.

Cops say the GF claims Johnson had attacked her multiple times in the past … including a recent incident at the Wynn Hotel in Vegas.

According to the report, security quickly made contact with Johnson and brought him to the security office.

One of the security guards told police … while he was in the office, Johnson bragged about being released from charges “last time” … and then told one of the guards that he was going to “rip your f*cking vocal cords out.”

According to the report, officers say the GF had multiple marks on her face and neck … and Johnson had a small cut on his cheek and one on his lip.

Rihanna Announces New Album ‘Unapologetic’

Less than a year after releasing Talk That Talk, Rihanna is back with her seventh album in seven years, Unapologetic. 

The pop princess took to Twitter on Thursday to reveal the title, release date, and cover art, on which she strips down with nothing but black and white words scrawled across her naked body. A tattoo of the Egyptian goddess Isis, which she dedicated to her late grandmother, can also be seen.

“My NEW album ‘UNAPOLOGETIC’ will be released on NOVEMBER 19th WORLDWIDE #Navy,” she announced.

She earlier caused confusion by tweeting the trending topic #sideeffects, making some fans believe that the title was Side Effects. She later removed the misleading tweets.

The first single “Diamonds” currently occupies the No. 18 spot on the Billboard Hot 100, while the album is expected to feature contributions from Stargate and Ne-Yo, who penned two songs.

RiRi, who leads the nominations at the American Music Awards, will kick off her “Diamonds World Tour”in March 2013.

Game to Star in VH1 Reality Show ‘Marrying The Game’

Game is making the leap from rapper to reality show star. VH1 has officially announced that the Compton MC will star in a new series, “Marrying The Game.”

 The show follows the unlikely love story of Jayceon Taylor aka “The Game” and his straight-laced school teacher fiancée Tiffney Cambridge as they prepare to exchange vows. Their two children, King Justice, 5, and Cali Dream, 1, will also make appearances.

Last year, Game made headlines after getting engaged to Cambridge, a fifth grade history teacher, and then calling it off, only to later move forward with wedding plans.

Cambridge fell in love with Jayceon, but wanted nothing to do with his rap alter ego. After eight years and two children, she finally agreed to marry him.

In each episode, viewers will see how love brought this unlikely couple together and how they work through their differences. Find out if they make it down the aisle when the season premieres on November 19 at 9:30 p.m.

Kelly Rowland Announces New Album ‘Year of the Woman’

Kelly Rowland is representing for her ladies. The R&B diva has revealed the girl power-inspired title of her fourth solo album Year of the Woman.

 The 31-year-old singer took to her website to announce the news. “I’m so excited to reveal the title of my fourth solo studio album,” she wrote. “For weeks I have been using the hashtag #YOTW which stands for my next album which is titled ‘Year Of the Woman’. This album is one of my greatest pieces of work and I cannot wait to share it with you guys!”

Earlier this summer, Kelly debuted the first single “ICE” featuring Lil Wayne. She has been in the studio with hitmakers including Rico Love, Sean Garrett, and T-Minus working on the follow-up to 2011’s Here I Am.

“I am more excited going into it this time than last time because I have a concept,” she previously told Vegas magazine. “I’m making this album for my ladies, oh, yes, and it is strong. All of the producers I’ve been working with get the concept so much that they brought in a little more aggressive—and sometimes masculine—approach, but there is a really incredible top line: I want to tell women how incredible we are, how our intuition is so spot-on. Sometimes we don’t listen to it, but it is the thing that can actually make us happier.”

Gunplay Reports to Jail on Robbery Charge

Gunplay is living up to his criminal name, turning himself into Miami authorities today on a charge related to a previous armed robbery arrest.

 The Maybach Music Group rapper’s lawyer tells TMZ,  “Gunplay voluntarily surrendered today without incident. There’s been an open arrest warrant for armed robbery with a firearm.”

Gunplay was advised to turn himself in by his attorney following the recent brawl with 50 Cent at the 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards, which likely drew attention from police to the active robbery warrant.

Earlier this week, he played up his recent troubles on the song “Rap Sheet,” boasting, “Your rap sheet ain’t longer than your gun. Check mine!”

Nicki Minaj and Cassie Get Playful in New Video

“Barbz, would u like to see a still from ‘the boys’ video?” Nicki Minaj asked her fans before posting the photo in which her head appears to be nestled between Cassie’s legs.

The racy pic quickly amassed over 80,000 views, sending fans into an immediate tizzy. “OH MY GOD SCREAMING!!!!!!” tweeted one Barb, while another added, “NICKI. NICKI. WUT.”

Nicki released a behind-the-scenes video earlier this month. In the footage, the Young Money queen gets outfitted in bright, neon colors as she strolls through a fictional Barbie-inspired block.

“The Boys” is the first single from Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded – The Re-Up, due November 19. In addition to the upbeat number, expect 5-6 new tracks including a collaboration with Lil Wayne.

Last month Clint Eastwood hinted that Beyonce was no longer attached to his remake of A Star is Born.  Well Bey confirms she’s out…

“I was looking forward to the production of A Star Is Born and the opportunity to work with Clint Eastwood. For months we tried to coordinate our schedules to bring this remake to life but it was just not possible. Hopefully in the future we will get a chance to work together.”

Insiders say Eastwood is interested in jazz musician Esperanza Spaulding for the role.

Monica Not Pleased with Baby Father (Rocko) Joining Cast of Love and Hip Hop

Things in R&B singer Monica’s lovely public life was going well, until her ex-fiancee Rodney “Rocko” Hill decided to join the cast of “Love & Hip Hop.”

So the scoop is, she is very much against this whole thing, especially because they have children together.  Although VH1 hasn’t confirmed or denied the casting, it appears this is a go.  He’d be on the show for his contributions as an artist in the music industry.

Supposedly, Monica is attempting to stop the madness before it gets started. She even publicly shared some thoughts about some ‘trials’ shortly after the news hit.

“Be very careful not to mistake the devil’s gifts for blessings,” she tweeted. “The devil knows how to grant u with what u want!! God grants u with what u need!! The righteous walk isn’t always easy but the end result is everlasting life. Which do u choose?”

Rocko then posted his own subliminal tweet. “WHATS FOR ME IS FOR ME!!!!! YOU CANT STOP IT!!!!! I STAY PRAYED UP!!!!!”

Rocko and Monica split in 2009 after being engaged for nearly 10 years.
