Now that the people have spoken and have chosen their leader as Donald Trump, one side is excited about the new direction of the country and others are disappointed, heartbroken and trying to figure it all out.  It seems like we as a people have worked so hard to get to where we are to feel like we are taking further steps behind.  Whatever the case, only time will tell how everything plays out.  Many have their theories and will try and justify whatever makes sense to them.  However, the most important thing we can do is educate ourselves and understand the country in which we reside.

Start with understanding the Electoral Vote.

Adele Goes Diamond

Adele has proven to be a force to be reckoned with.  Her latest album “25” went platinum 10 times, garnering her second album to reach that milestone; which took only 8 months to achieve.  According to the RIAA, Adele’s smash 25 reached diamond status last Thursday (Sept. 22), certifying it for 10 million in sales in the U.S. alone. She received the 10X Platinum plaque on the final night of her six-show stint at Madison Square Garden.

Her previous album, 2011’s “21″, propelled by hits “Rolling in the Deep” and “Someone Like You,” took almost two years to hit diamond in November 2012.

My all time favorite Basketball player, Allen Iverson was inducted into the Hall of Fame on Friday, September 9th, 2016.

Allen Iverson put his entire heart into the game of basketball. He was smaller than most, but his heart was bigger than just about everybody’s. Iverson wasn’t afraid to get emotional and let it all out in his speech, much like we saw on the court.

Take a look at his passionate speech below:
