Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj are all smiles in a new promo photo for “American Idol.” The dueling divas put their feud aside and join fellow judges Randy Jackson and Keith Urban, as well as host Ryan Seacrest, for the snapshot.

Memphitz Wright is sick and tired of K. Michelle spewing her abuse allegations against him and has slapped Mona Scott-Young and Love and Hip Hop Atlanta with a multi-million dollar lawsuit.

Mickey Wright, Jr. p/k/a “MeMpHiTz”, is filing a federal lawsuit against the creators and producers of the popular VH-1 reality television show “Love And Hip Hop: Atlanta.”
Attorneys Conti J. Moore, Esq. of Conti Moore Law, PLLC and Alcide L. Honoré, Esq. of Hooper & Honoré, LLC, are representing Mr. Wright. He is filing suit against the following entities: Viacom International, Inc.; NFGTV, Inc.; and Monami Entertainment, LLC.
Wright is suing the named Defendants for approximately one dollar per viewer per show for damages that stem from the defamatory statements and denigrating actions of cast member Kimberly Michelle Pate p/k/a “K. Michelle”.
According to Attorney Conti J. Moore, Esq., whose practice is based in Orlando, Florida, “Ms. Pate has taken full advantage of society’s tendency to accept claims of domestic violence as always being true, even in the absence of proof. The only abuse that actually occurred is the malicious and calculated pattern of vicious lies Ms. Pate has assailed for the purpose of fabricating a compelling story line in an attempt to ruin my client’s name.”
Atlanta based Attorney Alcide L. Honoré, Esq. maintains that, “even the most ridiculous statements when repeated frequently become true in the minds of many. Ms. Pate’s preposterous claims, which include allegations that Mr. Wright mismanaged funds and caused her career to ‘flop’, have been adopted as truth by many followers of the popular VH-1 reality series.”
Wright maintains that the suit is not about revenge but is instead about defending himself and his professional reputation from the malicious false and misleading statements made about him on the popular VH-1 reality show.
“My family and I have suffered tremendously while VH-1, Monami Ent., and the other companies provided a worldwide platform for K. Michelle to repeatedly assassinate my character. The filing of this suit is to compensate for the irreparable damage that has been done to my reputation and to deter these companies from doing such future harm to others.”

Following a tumultuous season of “Basketball Wives,” the release of her first book, and tying the knot with Chad Johnson, Evelyn Lozada met IyanlaVanzant for a little workout and maybe some self evaluation.
“Hey everyone! I’m with Iyanla and can’t wait for you guys to see me on her show “Iyanla Fix My Life” on OWN in September,” Lozada confirmed with pictures from the taping. “Right now, I’m in my ZEN moment with Iyanla.”
As widely reported, Evelyn vowed to make some changes in her life following the fourth season of “Basketball Wives” where she was seen throwing a wine bottle at a cast member (among other things). Maybe this will be a great public way she can share her journey and growth with viewers.
The new series will show Iyanla working with women and their families, revealing secrets, truths, and emotions as she show families how to “pull back the curtain on what is broken in our lives”. The first episode debuts September 15th on OWN.
Following “Oprah’s Next Chapter,” the series premiere of new original series “Lovetown, USA” (10-11 p.m. ET/PT) featuring a unique social experiment on love, marked the network’s second highest series premiere ever in the key demo, behind only “Oprah’s Next Chapter” and tying “Ask Oprah’s All Stars.”
Additionally, the network states, OWN has notched its 31st consecutive week of total day growth across all key demos versus year ago numbers.
Nearly 900,000 total viewers tuned in if you factor in the encore airings as well.
“We were confident in the quality of production and that the compelling storytelling deriving from the Divas’ willingness to present their lives so openly and honestly would result in an entertaining series,” said Toni Judkins, TV One EVP of Programming and Production. “We’re pleased that the ratings reflect the viewers’ interest in and support of the show and TV One.”

Memphitz finally broke his silence in the ongoing saga between himself and K. Michelle back in June on the T.T Torrez show. Since the first time she appeared on Love and Hip Hop Atlanta K. Michelle’s entire storyline has revolved around her telling the story of how Memphitz kicked her ass and stole her money. Memphtiz has remained silent, but Memph explains to T.T Torrez that it was K. Michelle who attacked him and not the other way around. In the interview Memphitz tells T.T. that after K. Michelle embarrassed him in a business meeting with her loud mouth, he sent her to the hotel room to wait until he was finished. After returning to the room, Memphitz says he broke up with K. Michelle and that’s when she came out swinging. Memphitz admits restraining K. but not hitting her or trying to smother her with a pillow. Memphitz also took a moment to share that MiMi’s best friend Ariane, that they used to date and when he sees her on the previews sitting with K. Following her revealing interview with Rihanna for “Oprah’s Next Chapter,” one of O’s Twitter followers asked her to get Lauryn Hill on her show, but the elusive superstar was not interested. “Tried. She said no,” tweeted Oprah.
Winfrey has scored exclusive interviews with Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina, 50 Cent, the Kardashians, and Paris Jackson for the latest season of her OWN program.
Another star who’s not quite ready to have a heart-to-heart with Oprah is Beyoncé. While the private singer appeared on her daytime talk show several times, she has been reluctant to say yes to an in-depth interview. “See if you can convince Beyonce, I haven’t had luck yet,” Oprah told one fan.
The embattled Fugees frontwoman is facing three years behind bars after intentionally failing to file tax returns in 2005, 2006, and 2007. She will be sentenced in November.
