My all time favorite Basketball player, Allen Iverson was inducted into the Hall of Fame on Friday, September 9th, 2016.

Allen Iverson put his entire heart into the game of basketball. He was smaller than most, but his heart was bigger than just about everybody’s. Iverson wasn’t afraid to get emotional and let it all out in his speech, much like we saw on the court.

Back in 2012 former football star Chad “Ocho Cino” Johnson famously lost his NFL career after brutally assaulting his reality star wife of one month Evelyn Lozada .

Last summer fans were shocked after Snoop Dogg’s son Cordell Broadus abruptly quit the UCLA football team in pursuit of a career in movie production.

Cordell has had a change of heart.

According to reports Cordell Broadus will return to the Bruins as a walk-on this year.

Spring practice begins March 29.

Katy Perry Reportedly to Perform at Super Bowl XLIX Halftime Show

Sources have confirmed with Billboard that Katy Perry will hit the stage at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, when Super Bowl XLIX takes place on February 1, 2015.

Perry was one of three finalists, including Rihanna and Coldplay, that the NFL reportedly shortlisted for the big sporting spectacle. At the time, the National Football League also reportedly would ask artists to pay for the coveted halftime slot, after last year’s Super Bowl drew in a record-setting 111.5 million viewers and previous performers received a large boost in sales, touring, etc.

Joseph Patterson Charged With 2nd Degree Murder For Killing Adrian Peterson’s Son

TMZ reports,

The man who allegedly beat Adrian Peterson’s 2-year-old son to death was just charged with second degree murder … TMZ has learned.

Joseph Patterson was charged with second degree murder and 2 counts of first degree manslaughter, as well as aggravated battery of an infant. He was also charged with felony child abuse.

Patterson, who was dating Adrian’s baby mama at the time, was supposed to be caring for the child while she was away.

Second degree murder carries a mandatory life sentence in South Dakota.

 

Adrian Peterson’s Young Son Dies After Alleged Assault

According to USA Today, Adrian Peterson’s son has been removed from the ventilator and has died.

Reports state that Adrian’s 2-year-old son was on life support after emergency responders found him unresponsive at his mother’s boyfriend’s Sioux Falls home.  The mother’s 27-year-old boyfriend Joseph Patterson has been charged with aggravated assault and aggravated battery of an infant.  And these charges will likely escalate to murder.

And apparently, this was not Patterson’s first issue with domestic violence.  The report states:

Patterson has a prior domestic abuse record with a different woman and child, having pleaded guilty to simple assault in an incident last year involving an adult female and juvenile male.

Allen Iverson’s Ex Wife Demands $1 Million

Allen Iverson’s ex-wife Tawanna is tired of taking Allen to court every time the child support is due so she wants a lump sum payment up front. Back in June Allen Iverson was given 72 hours to cough up $71,000 in back child support or face jail time after admitting in court that he had been deliberately withholding support.

According to TMZ Tawanna Iverson filed legal papers asking a judge to order Allen to pay her a $1.2 million lump sum covering support for their 5 children until 2026.  If granted the money will go into a trust.   A ruling has not been made.
