Rick Ross has announced that his new albumBlack Dollar will arrive on Thursday, Sept. 3. The project marks the follow-up to last year’sMastermindand Hood Billionaire. His lawyer announced the title in July following Ross’ arrest for kidnapping, aggravated battery, and aggravated assault.
Jeezy releases a new song entitled “God,” produced by TM88 and Southside.
He also penned an open letter in which he expresses his concerns and frustrations about the crime and police violence occurring in communities across the world. Jeezy argues that African-American men often turn to crime because of a lack of better opportunities.

On the track Drake tells Meek, among other things,

Birdman has finally opened up about his on-going feud with Lil Wayne. Baby has been embroiled in several large controversies over the last few months, stemming from his beef with former protégé. Weezy has sued him for $51 million, and allegations have ranged from extortion to attempted murder, after Wayne’s tour bus was shot up.
He spent 48 hours with Angie Martinez in Miami and addressed all the hot topics.
In the interview he states that, “Nicki and Drake ain’t goin’ nowhere, regardless,” says Birdman in response to Wayne’s threats that he will take his Young Money artists with him.
He goes on to describe his fallout with Wayne in more detail: “That was shocking to everybody,” he says, adding, “We never thought [Wayne] would be saying nothing negative about me ever in no lifetime. I never thought that could ever happen—for that man to open his mouth and say something negative about me. Sh*t f**ked my day up. I love my son. He mean the world to me. For that man to say something negative about me, that affected my life.”

Taylor Swift has issued a heartfelt apology to Nicki MInaj following their Twitter spat.
Taylor tweeted an apology on Thursday (July 23), writing, “I thought I was being called out. I missed the point, I misunderstood, then misspoke. I’m sorry, Nicki. @NICKIMINAJ.”
The two went toe to toe two over the MTV Video Music Awards nominations. Nicki called out MTV for excluding “Anaconda” from the Video of the Year category.
Nicki has responded to Taylor’s apology stating, “That means so much Taylor, thank you,” she tweeted, adding, “I’ve always loved her. Everyone makes mistakes. She gained so much more respect from me. Let’s move on.”
After Meek Mill’s Twitter rant, he had more to say about Drake when he appeared on stage at a concert last night.
During Nicki Minaj’s “Pinkprint Tour” in Bristow, Va. on Wednesday (July 22), Meek shouted out Drake, but didn’t back off his claim that the Canadian MC had a ghostwriter pen his verse on “R.I.C.O.”
His Twitter tirade must didn’t sit well with his girlfriend because Meek issued a public apology to her for causing all the drama. “I wanna give a special apology shout-out to Nicki Minaj for my crazy ass going crazy on Twitter,” said Meek as he stroked her hair. “You can’t be messin’ with no hood ni**a.”
