Nicki Minaj quietly dropped the full version of her new single “Bed of Lies” on iTUNES on Saturday night. The track was produced by Alex Da Kid and Kane Beatz and features Skylar Grey. In the song Minaj can be heard putting an ex-lover on blast, which many believe the song is about rumored boyfriend Safaree.
Following “Pills N Potions,” “Anaconda,” and “Only,” “Bed of Lies” is the fourth release from Nicki’s third album The Pinkprint, due December 15.
Congratulations are in order for Solange Knowles and her new husband Alan Ferguson. This is Solange’s second marriage, she tied the knot at only 17 years old to Daniel Smith back in 2004. After 14 years on the air, BET’s music countdown show “106 & Park” is going off air.
Bow Wow and Keshia Chanté will host the final daily on-air show on December 19, it was announced yesterday.
There are still plans to produce “106 & Park” specialst hroughout the year, including the annual New Year’s Eve show, “106 & Party,” along with live event experiences at the BET Awards and BET Experience.

“So me and Fat Drugs was on the phone, and we were talking about how far “out of touch” some artists are as far as their ability to spit (to be humble)… We was really talking about how wack these rappers are and how they keep putting out bullshit and people eat it right up (laughs). 30 minutes later, he sent me the beat to this song and told me to “tell these niggas what we talking about bra!”. And this was the result. As always, I wanted to display a different side of my craft. A lot of my fans and listeners haven’t seen me go this rout before. “My thought process in making this song was to completely cut loose.. I wanted to make a solid and strong statement and show just how versatile I am. I wanted people to hear this song and think “whoa!”. I think as artists, we have to do that every now and then. Just recklessly exercise our craft and whatever happens, happens… it’ll be art regardless. Sort of like a heavyweight champ mindlessly hitting a punching bag. (Laughs) yeah, this here is that punching bag flow!”

To celebrate her 14th birthday singer/actress Willow Smith dropped a new EP titled 3. For the project, Willow recruited TDE performer SZA to appear on the song “9”. The two other tracks are “8” and “Flowers.”
Her mini-album is currently available for free only on Google Play Music. 3 will be released through other digital retailers on November 17.
