On Set of Chris Brown’s ‘Sweet Love’ Video
Chris Brown is bringing his dream to life. Fresh off the plane from Australia for Supafest, the R&B heartthrob was on set of the video for “Sweet Love” the Polow Da Don-produced single off his upcoming album Fortune, now due July 3.
Breezy was once again in the director’s chair as he shot the dream sequence on a studio lot in L.A. Women levitated out of their beds as he walked by them on the wet streets. “We directing got em floating!” he tweeted.
Chris will be back in front of the camera when he shoots the video for “Right by My Side” with Nicki Minaj later this week.
New Music: Usher – ‘Scream’
While his single “Climax” soars to No. 1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop charts, Usher unleashes the follow-up “Scream.” The R&B showman ignites the dance floor on the adrenaline-fueled record, which is more akin to his pop hits “OMG” and “DJ Got Us Fallin’ in Love.”
“If you wanna scream, ‘Yeah!’ Let me know and I’ll take you there,” sings Usher over the galloping beat.
He is also readying another single for urban radio called “Let Me See,” produced by Jim Jonsin and featuring Rick Ross. Both songs will appear on his upcoming album Looking for Myself, due June 12.
New Music: Goodie Mob – ‘Fight to Win’
Cee Lo Green reunited with his Goodie Mob bandmates on “The Voice” last night to debut the group’s new single “Fight to Win.” Dressed as warriors in metallic gold suits with glowing teeth, the Atlanta collective performed the courageous track, which will be used as the theme song for the NBA. The elusive André 3000 even stopped by the show to watch them perform.
“It’s really a special song and you can tell it’s a continuum of what Goodie Mob stands for,” Cee Lo told Sway on “Sway in the Morning. “It’s definitely African Americana.”
Cee Lo, Khujo, T-Mo, and Big Gipp have recorded 10-15 songs for their upcoming album Age Against the Machine, but a release date has not been set.

The Canadian singer shakes it fast and takes it slow on the bombastic Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins production, delivering her signature rap-sung style.
“I bet you never heard something like that,” sings Nelly, who has also collaborated with Nas, Salaam Remi, and Tiesto on the follow-up to 2006’s multi-platinum Loose.

Kanye West prescribes a dose of reality on the brash “Theraflu,” a brand new song produced by Hit-Boy. The outspoken MC professes his love for Kim Kardashian, lashes out at her ex Kris Humphries, and pays respect to Amber Rose’s fiancé Wiz Khalifa.
“And the whole industry want to fuck your old chick/ Only nigga I got respect for is Wiz/ And I’ll admit I fell in love with Kim around the same time she fell in love with him/ Well that’s cool, baby girl, do your thing/ Lucky I ain’t have Jay drop him from the team.”

New Video: Melody Thornton – ‘Smoking Gun’
Melody Thornton burns up the screen as a tortured Mob wife in the sinful video for “Smoking Gun,” a cut off her mixtape P.O.Y.B.L The former Pussycat Doll ties up her man as she smokes a cigarette and packs her suitcase.
“‘Smoking Gun’ is one of the four original songs on my mixtape P.O.Y.B.L,” said the 27-year-old singer. “It’s always fun to play dress up and for this video I took inspiration from the tortured Mob Wives in the notorious movie GoodFellas. Working with talent like Hyperballad and George Su was such a pleasure and I look forward to making more magic in the near future.”
Dano Cerny and Marielle Tepper of directing duo Hyperballad added, “We were moved by the bittersweet undertones of the track and collaborated with cinematographer George Su to capture a nostalgic style influenced by classic pulp films.”
