New Music: Frank Ocean f/ Tyler, the Creator – ‘Golden Girl’

Frank Ocean spreads some sunshine on “Golden Girl,” a bonus track on the physical edition of his hot-selling album channel ORANGE, in stores July 17.  The R&B sensation finds the perfect woman, who puts a smile on his face.

“You’re 24k, you make it bright when it’s gray,” sings Ocean over the breezy beat, which features a verse from his Odd Future comrade Tyler, the Creator.

“GOLDEN GIRL. Reminds Me Of Being In Hawaii Right Now. With A Freckled Faced One. Yah,” tweeted Tyler.

Something Refreshing!!! New Music: Frank Ocean f/ André 3000 – ‘Pink Matter’

Frank Ocean teams with André 3000 on “Pink Matter,” one of the few collaborations on his new album channel ORANGE, which rocketed to No. 1 on iTunes hours afters its release. The OutKast MC adds a stellar verse (“If models are made for modeling/ Thick girls are made for cuddlin’”) and plays a funky guitar solo on the vulnerable record.

Big Boi revealed that Frank originally wanted both him and André on the track, but Three Stacks didn’t want an OutKast collaboration on anyone else’s album. However, Big Boi may still add his own verse to the song.

channelORANGE is a collective mixture of love and heartbreak that anybody can relate to.  Frank’s intimate and poetic way of telling stories make this CD even more stellar.  This CD definitely will go on my list of all time favorites.  It has been on constant #replay!!  Hope he gets that #1 album.

New Music: Marcus Canty f/ Wale – ‘In & Out’

Marcus Canty goes through the revolving doors of love on “In & Out,” the new single from his upcoming Epic Records debut. The former “X Factor” contestant grabs a verse from MMG’s own Wale on the bouncy club banger, produced by Harmony “H-Money” Samuels. “I be in and out of love, you know they just can’t lock me down,” sings the 21-year-old crooner.

Frank Ocean has everyone talking about his sexuality, which is irrelevant because this dude is like dat!!! I’m loving the songs what I’ve heard so far!  He turns the focus back to his music with “Sweet LIFE,” a cut off his Def Jam debut Channel Orange, due July 17.  The Odd Future singer-songwriter, who will perform on Monday’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” sings about living a life of privilege (“You’ve had a landscaper and a housekeeper since you were born”) on the lush Pharrell production.  Get a taste of the “Sweet LIFE.” #DOPE

New Music: Trey Songz – ‘Dive In’

Trey Songz makes a splash with “Dive In,” a seductive new track off his upcoming fifth album Chapter V, due August 21.

In an interview with ESSENCE, the R&B heartthrob revealed that the project will feature collaborations with Big Sean, Rick Ross, Diddy, and Meek Mill.

“This album will serve my core audience,” he said. “A lot of artists and music trends are going toward Euro-pop and it’s fast money. Chapter V will showcase everything from me. I’m very proud of it.”

New Music: Rick Ross – ‘Hold Me Back’

Rick Ross sticks to the formula on “Hold Me Back,” the latest cut off his highly-anticipated album God Forgives, I Don’t, due July 31. “Deez ni**as wanna hold me back/ Deez hos wanna hold me back,” raps Rozay on the bossy street anthem, which recalls Rico Love’s hook on “Actin’ Up,” Wale and Meek Mill’s collaboration off the Self Made, Vol. 2 compilation.

After topping the charts with “Motivation” last year, Kelly Rowland and Lil Wayne rekindle the magic on “Ice,” Kelly’s seductive single from her upcoming fourth album.
