Radii Footwear is back with their Spring 2011 collection, and they’ve added new ideas that take their design to the next level. Many of these new concepts can been seen through the Gilligan sneakers, which combine the classic high top sneaker look with side lacing detail that is mostly common on boat shoes.

Lupe Fiasco’s Trilly & Truly Overthrown Junta Leather Camo Jackets
Chicago rapper Lupe Fiasco is gearing up to release a high-end collection for his Trilly & Truly clothing line titled “Overthrown Junta”. An exclusive preview of the new collection was recently unveiled showcasing a biker jacket ($4,000) and a sleeveless vest jacket ($3,000). Together with his co-designer Marisol Martinez, Lupe created these pieces using iconic motorcycle leather jacket design concepts in union with camouflage print. These jackets are expected to arrive in Don C’s RSVP Gallery store in Chicago in 3 weeks, and then other outlets thereafter.

BEYONCE MODELS FOR DESIGNER TOM FORD
A couple of months ago during New York’s Fashion Week, Beyonce catwalked for Tom Ford’s private fashion show where she modelled his Spring/Summer 2011 Collectio. The hush hush event was attended by 100 guests which saw the designer showcasing his first women’s collection in over six years. Harper’s Bazaar magazine was lucky enough to get an invite and featured this never before seen photo of the superstar diva in their latest issue.

LALA COVERS ‘FEARLESS’ MAGAZINE
Cover girl LaLa Vazquez is looking GORGEOUS on the new FEARLESS magazine cover for the Winter 2010 Holiday/New You issue. She’s talking about being the newly married wife of NBA superstar Carmelo Anthony, and being the star of her own VH1 reality show “La La’s Full Court Wedding.”

What does being “Fearless” mean to you?
I’ve learned in this business someone’s not going to like it. Someone’s always going to have something to say. So I think that being fearless is not trying to please everybody but just pleasing yourself because at the day end of the day if you’re happy that’s all that really matters.
You’re a new bride tell us about that experience. Do you feel any different than before?
You know I think overall I feel the same in the relationship. It’s the same even though inside of me there is that place that knows, “OK, you’re married now.
We are all here for a reason. Why do you think you are here?
That’s a deep one. I think I am definitely here to be a mother to my son and to be a good example to him of how men should treat women.
