For fall 2012, the traditional business suit has gone through a much-needed fashion makeover and been turned into a sleek, youthful and modern ensemble. Tailored clothing manufacturers are proposing a formfitting silhouette, with narrow lapels and tight, defined shoulders that will empower any executive.

This Christian Louboutin John John Men’s Flat Shoe from the Fall/Winter 2011 Collection retails at $865. I must say I really like the style and look of the shoe. They remind me of the classic style of the 20’s and 30’s where the lace-up style shoes were in high demand.   They can definitely be rocked with a nice tailored suit or a pair of designer jeans.  I’m diggin’ them!!!  Something to have chillin’ in the shoe collection. They’re offered in multicolored variations: one in navy blue/gray and the other in burgundy/light blue.

Christian Louboutin Spring/Summer 2012 Roller-Boat Spikes Flat Sneakers

Christian Louboutin continues with the spikes for their Spring/Summer 2012 Men’s Footwear Collection. Regarded as the more casual rendition of the Rollerboy Spikes loafer, the Roller-boat mens sneaker retailing at about $1,095 features a black woven calf leather upper covered with silver studs on a thick rubber sole.  I prefer these over the high top one’s, but still couldn’t see myself wearing them more than a few times.  They just seem like a shoe that sits on display within your shoe collection.  Now if I had the bread like that  to cop thousand dollar shoes, that’s a different story!!

The Watch the Throne tour made its stop in Kanye West’s hometown of Chicago this week. During his downtime, Kanye and Jay spent their time connecting with the fans by visiting random locations throughout the city. Jay-Z was spotted in a Givenchy leather and shearling biker jacket retailing at $4,070, while Kanye sported the 3.1 Phillip Lim braided black leather biker jacket priced at $1,750. It appears Kanye had his customized, as the jacket originally features silver hardware detailing, his is all black out.

Sneak Peek: Versace for H&M Men’s Collection

H&M is set for their partnership with high-end designer Versace and now with the Nov. 17th release date less than a month away. I have found a few looks that consumers can look forward to.  The collection will include a black and pink suit, tuxedo jacket, shirts with metallic wingtips at the collar, cashmere sweaters, a quilted leather jacket, printed bomber, t-shirts, shorts, jeans, and underpants. The accessories collection consist of hats, beanies, scarves, belts, bracelets, a single high-top sneaker, and two leather lace up shoes in black or pink.

Versace for H&M 2011 Collection = Gold, Glamorous, Exciting, Rock ‘N’ Roll

Versace teams up with H&M to bring an exclusive collection to the mainstream audience. Spearheaded by Versace’s creative director Donnatella Versace and H&M’s creative advisor Margareta van den Bosch. You can expect iconic pieces in gold, leather, and colorful prints themed from the past and recent collections. This glamorous rock ‘n’ roll collaboration will include about 40 pieces for women and 20 for men as well as accessories such as belts, jewelry, home cushions, and bed linen. The collection will be available on November 17, 2011 in 300 stores worldwide as well as on-line.

The Beyonce  full promotional blast has begun.  She poses for not 1, 2, but 3 covers of W magazine. I wanted this record to come from a raw place,” she told the  magazine  of her fourth album 4, due June 28. “Playing Etta James in the movie Cadillac Records really changed me. It was a darker character, and I realized that if anything is too comfortable, I want to run from it. It’s no fun being safe.”
