Michelle Williams Opens Up About Fight With Depression

Via ABC News reports:
The singer-actress, Michelle Williams— one third of Destiny’s Child alongside Beyonce and Kelly Rowland — said that in the past few months she has emerged from years of suffering from moderate depression. Her dark cloud lifted thanks to exercise, therapy and positive thinking.
“I’ve dealt with depression,” the 32-year-old said during a break in rehearsals for a new touring production of “Fela!” that kicks off later this month. “I had to choose to get out of bed and do whatever I needed to do to be happy.”
Williams says she suffered her first bout of depression at 15 or 16 and has managed to avoid medication. She is speaking out for the first time about her battle to encourage others to seek help.
“We’re taught, ‘Just go to church and pray about it. The Lord is going to heal you.’ Well, in the meantime, I believe God-gifted people, physicians, doctors, therapists — that’s your healing. Take advantage of it,” she said. “Go see a professional so that they can assess you. It’s OK if you’re going through something. Depression is not OK, but it is OK to go get help.”
The ladies of Destiny’s Child are also gearing up to perform with Beyonce at the half-time Superbowl show, and they just released a new song from their “Love Songs” collection called “Nuclear.”
You Gon’ to Jail Today!! Chief Keef Sobs in the Courtroom Over Sentence

Via DNA Chicago reports:
“I beg you please,” Chief Keef told Juvenile Court Judge Carl Anthony Walker. “Give me one more chance to show you. .. I am a very good hearted person. I have not picked up any more cases… That’s not my life anymore.”
The 17-year-old rapper, whose real name is Keith Cozart, then he broke down in sobs.
But the judge hit him with a two-month sentence, nonetheless. Keef then hugged and kissed his mother and grandmother before heading off to serve his time.
Prosecutors brought the probation violation case against the Interscope Records star after he appeared in a Pitchfork.com video holding a rifle at a New York gun range. Earlier this week, Walker said Chief Keef exhibited a “clear disregard for the court’s authority” in appearing with the gun.
Before being sentenced, prosecutors read lyrics from Chief Keef’s “Love Sosa” rap on his “Finally Rich” album, which debuted last month to strong sales.
Prosecutors pointed to lyrics that mentioned gangs and guns, a sign that the teen was unrepentant.
Chief Keef, in addressing the judge, called the lyrics “bull stuff.”
The sentence means Chief Keef will have to delay touring to support his new record.

Jermaine Dupri Saves His Crib One More Time
According to TMZ,
Jermaine Dupri rescued his home — filing an emergency motion just days after Christmas, insisting the foreclosure company has continually failed to prove that Jermaine actually owes the money it claims he does.
The company claims he owes roughly $410,000 on the home — Jermaine insists he only owes $111,845.
The judge sided with Jermaine — despite the producer admitting in the court docs that he hasn’t made a mortgage payment since November 2011 — and canceled the auction.
A hearing on the debt dispute has not been scheduled yet.
