FRANK OCEAN OFFERS ‘FORGIVENESS’ TO CHRIS BROWN, WON’T PRESS CHARGES
Frank Ocean is putting a peaceful end to his feud with Chris Brown. The “Thinkin Bout You” singer has decided to find forgiveness and not press charges.
Following their brawl that occurred last month at a recording studio in West Hollywood, Ocean spoke out about the incident in a letter on his blog.
“As a child I thought if someone jumped me it would result in me murdering or mutilating a man,” wrote Ocean, who is nominated for six Grammys. “But as a man I am not a killer. I’m an artist and a modern person.”
He decided to let bygones be bygones and not press any charges or file a lawsuit. “I’ll choose sanity. No criminal charges. No civil lawsuit.”
The decision wasn’t an easy one to make. “Forgiveness, albeit difficult, is wisdom. Peace, albeit trite, is what I want in my short life. Peace,” he said.
Frank suffered a cut finger, while Chris injured his hand during the altercation. Chris maintains that Frank started the fight by refusing to shake his hand, while an eyewitness claims Chris threw the first punch. Chris fled the scene and has yet to speak with police about the incident.

Following the lip-syncing controversy at President Obama’s inauguration, Beyoncé silenced her haters by singing live during Thursday’s Super Bowl press conference. Bey walked on stage in a white dress and before even answering a question, she belted out the National Anthem live.
“Any questions?” she laughed after wowing with her rendition.
She also addressed the lip-syncing rumors once and for all. “I decided to sing along with my pre-recorded track,” she told reporters. “I’m very proud of my performance.”
RICK ROSS HIRES 24-HOUR ARMED SECURITY FOLLOWING SHOOTING
Rick Ross is not taking any chances. The Bawse is beefing up his security in the wake of Monday’s drive by shooting.
According to TMZ, the Miami rapper has hired 24-hour armed personal security for his protection following the scary incident.
Rozay was already employing armed bodyguards for major events and public appearances, but now he’s enlisted full-time security.
He had reportedly been receiving threats, but didn’t take them seriously. Sources tell TMZ that he considers the shooting to be an “eye-opener” and will do whatever it takes to ensure his safety.
The 37-year-old MC was targeted in a drive-by shooting in Ft. Lauderdale on Monday when a car pulled up next to his Rolls-Royce and shots were fired. He lost control of the vehicle and crashed into an apartment building.

Timbaland’s been producing for Jay-Z for the last 15 years Now it’s official, Hov has sined the mega producer to the Roc-Nation family.
The BK rapper took to his own Life + Times website today to make the announcement with the above pic saying:
“Roc Nation welcomes TIMBALAND to the family.”
Timbo also produced Justin Timberlake‘s new “Suit & Tie” track that Jay is featured on.
The NFL Stands Up for Beyonce
Yesterday rumors circulated that Beyonce was creating a problem for Superbowl organizers, demanding a laundry list of expensive backstage perks.

The reports are “pure pulp fiction” … and working with Beyonce has been nothing short of a pleasure.

Chris Brown Quits Social Media
Chris Brown caught hellfire and brimstone yesterday after using social media to compare himself to Jesus in the wake of his fist fight with Frank Ocean.
Unable to stand the heat Chris severed ties with social media. Before removing every picture from his Instagram account Chris Brown notified his fans of his departure posting,
“I would like to thank all my wonderful fans for letting me express my talents/art for you all.”
“But social media takes away the essence of why we are even special or icons. So with that, I’m detaching myself from that world.”
“Elevate yourself above the negative and if it doesn’t work move on! I respect myself enough as well as my fans to wanna be great!”
New Music: Tweet – “Enough”
It’s been all of eight years since Tweet last blessed the charts with her criminally underrated sophomore set ‘It’s Me Again’. Staying true to her promise of new music the singer unwrapped ‘Enough’ – the lead single from her new EP ‘Simply Tweet’.
Due on February 26th, the set will serve as a prelude of sorts to a full-length album later in the year.
