Kanye West’s new album The Life of Pablo fails to chart in the US or the UK.
Kanye West released his new album The Life of Pablo last week exclusively on TIDAL and this week TLOP is nowhere to be found on the Billboard Charts in the US or the UK Albums and Singles charts.
But its not all Yeezy’s fault.
Despite reports of TLOP being pirated over 500k times, one of the main reasons it failed to chart is because TIDAL, surprisingly, did not release any TLOP streaming data to Nielsen this week.
T.I. just inked a deal with Roc Nation and TIDAL. This week, just ahead of his concert inside Atlanta’s Greenbriar Mall, T.I. announced that his next album ‘Dime Trap’ would be distributed by Roc Nation and that he is now a co-owner of the music streaming service TIDAL.
T.I.’s mall concert was streamed live on TIDAL and Dime Trap’s first single, ‘Money Talk,’ is currently streaming exclusively on the service.
According to TMZ, insiders who were present during the Rihanna’s rehearsals for her Grammy performance say she was upset. They claim she had a “meltdown” and was loud, angry, and displeased with the run-through before leaving Staples Center.
RiRi’s team provided an explanation as to why the singer had to back out of the performance. “Based on Rihanna’s examination, after Grammy rehearsal today, Rihanna’s doctor put her on vocal rest for 48 hours because she was at risk of hemorrhaging her vocal chords.”
That same night, she posted a tweet to her Navy, saying that she was “so sorry” she “couldn’t be there,” but didn’t provide a reason for her absence.
Rihanna was set to perform “Kiss It Better” off her platinum album ANTI .
Earlier this week there were rumors that Kanye West had a major meltdown back stage at Saturday Night Live and had even threatened to walk off the set.
Audio from the meltdown has leaked online.
In the audio obtained by Page Six Kanye can be heard yelling,
“Are they f—–g crazy? Whoa by 50 percent [I am more influential than] Stanley Kubrick, Picasso, Apostle Paul, f—–g Picasso and Escobar. By 50 percent more influential than any other human being. Don’t f–k with me. Don’t f–k with me. Don’t f–k with me. By 50 percent dead or alive, by 50 percent for the next 1,000 years. Stanley Kubrick, ‘Ye.”
Following the leak, Kanye’s camp issued a statement on the recording.
“He did not yell at ‘SNL’ staff,” the rep said, according to Complex. “This audio was secretly recorded while he was venting his frustration in a private moment with his team. He found out his stage design was changed and taken apart under the direction of the show’s lighting director without anyone’s approval. He had spent an entire day rehearsing and a lot of hard work went into the performance. Dramatic set changes were made 30 minutes before going live. It should be understandable why he was upset after being completely blindsided.”
Lil’ Kim is back with a new jawn called “Panda,” featuring Maino.
“Panda” is a trap-based single by Brooklyn MC Desiigner. Kanye West made the announcement that he had signed the MC to G.O.O.D. Music while premiering The Life of Pablo at Madison Square Garden last week.

Taylor Swift had an important message after her Grammy win for Album of the Year for her album 1989. Earlier this week when Kanye West dropped his new album a particular song stood out, wherehe revealed in his song “Famous” that he indeed made Taylor Swift famous.
“I want to say to all the young women out there, there are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments, or your fame,” said Swift. “But if you just focus on the work and you don’t let those people sidetrack you, someday when you get where you’re going, you’ll look around and know that it was you and the people who love you who put you there. That will be the greatest feeling in the world.”
Yeezy believes that he made Taylor famous after his infamous interruption of the singer’s VMA speech in 2009. The incident led to a rift between the two until last year, when they seemed to reconcile during the VMAs.
