Frank Ocean finally got around to releasing his long-awaited sophomore album “Endless” last night.  The set features 18 tracks, with contributions from Jazmine Sullivan, James Blake, Sampha, and TROY NōKA. Ocean’s rendition of The Isley Brothers’ “At Your Best (You Are Love),” which Aaliyah famously covered, is also included.

Chad Johnson Tweets Himself Into an NFL Coaching Job

Back in 2012 former football star Chad “Ocho Cino” Johnson famously lost his NFL career after brutally assaulting his reality star wife of one month Evelyn Lozada .

Well things are looking up for Chad after Tweeting the Cleveland Browns asking for a job. It all started with these two Tweets asking the Browns head coach Huey “Hue” Jackson for a chance.

Memphis Bleek Files for Bankruptcy

Jay Z’s right hand man Memphis Bleek recently filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy.  He’s claiming he only has only $100 in cash. Where’s Jigga when you need him?

According to news reports Bleek filed for bankruptcy in U.S. Federal Court in New Jersey back in March listing $274k in assets including a home in New Jersey, wedding rings, a Chevy Impala, and clothing.

In the filing Bleek claims to earn just $5,911 a month while his expenses total $5,377 month leaving him with just $534.

Bleek owes $355k on his mortgage, $24k on the Chevy Impala, $9k to the IRS, and $13k to Monmouth County Superior Court.

A ruling on the bankruptcy is pending.

T.I. Takes to the Streets of Atlanta

T.I. took the streets of his hometown to participate in peaceful protests in response to the national crisis that has taken place. They chanted,  “No justice, no peace, no racist ass police,” as they walked in solidarity with the crowd, which included his 15-year-old son Domani.  Protestors walked from the National Center for Civil and Human Rights to the CNN Center.

As countless celebrities continue to speak out against police injustice in the wake of shootings caught on video, Beyoncé has penned a powerful open letter.

“We are sick and tired of the killings of young men and women in our communities,” she says. “It is up to us to take a stand and demand that they ‘stop killing us.’ We don’t need sympathy. We need everyone to respect our lives.”

Snoop and The Game Show Unity in LA

Snoop Dogg and The Game united in LA on  Friday in response to the shootings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile who were shot and killed by police. Then to add more salt to the wounds of the nation, snipers killed five police officers during a Dallas protest.

Snoop explained to TMZ,  “that’s not the answer,” but added that “there’s a lot of built-up frustration.”  “You can’t answer hate with hate. You gotta answer hate with love. This is a love offering.”

Both Snoop who is affiliated with the Crips and The Game who is affiliated with the Bloods, put generational beefs and years of strife aside and came together to show that unity in this moment in time is the best and only response.
