The network announced today that it has greenlit a second season of his reality show “T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle,” which follows the rapper, his wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle” and their children as they go about their various activities.
The show has become a certified hit for VH1, averaging 3.5 million total viewers during each Monday night premiere and first encore. Paired with the second season of “Love & Hip Hop” and the fourth season of “Basketball Wives,” the network has ranked as Monday Prime’s #1 cable net among W18-49.
Season two of “T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle” is slated to return fall 2012.
Nas’ financial battle with the Internal Revenue Service continues, over a $6 million delinquent tax bill.
According to TMZ.com, the IRS recently filed court documents seeking to garnish Nas’ earnings from his publishing companies.
The government is garnishing wages Nas earns through ASCAP and BMI, the two largest performing right Society organizations in the United States.
The performing rights organizations collect and track Nas’ music earnings from radio, television and other sources.
In February, the IRS put a lien on property Nas owns in Eagles Landing, Georgia, as well as a $339,000 tax bill for income earned in 2010.
Nas is reportedly preparing to release a new album tentatively titled Life Is Good.
Just when you weren’t expecting it, Ameriie returns with a brand new song off her upcoming mini-LP The Prelude. The sexy chanteuse takes it back to familiar territory on the first offering “Every Time,” produced by Focus. Now that the series has been officially picked up the cast has been whittled down considerably.
Now called ‘The Ladies of R&B’, the show will feature Faith Evans, Nicci Gilbert, Keke Wyatt, Monifah Carter and Syleena Johnson.
