Allen Iverson Wants Estranged Wife Locked Up

Allen Iverson and his estranged wife Tawanna’s messy divorce is getting messier. Allen just accused Tawanna of burglarizing his home and he wants her arrested.  Allen had been in Asia playing basketball and says he came home to an empty house courtesy of Tawnana. Furniture, art work, money, everything gone.

Last December Tawanna accused Allen of emptying their bank account and starving her and the kids, so maybe this his payback?  However, Allen has asked a judge to hold Tawanna in contempt for harassing him and to lock her up until she returns his stuff.

A ruling has not been made.

Big Sean Gets a Grill from Paul Wall

Big Sean added some sparkle to his smile thanks to Houston rapper and go-to grill maker Paul Wall.  The Detroit MC showed off his sparkly new accessory featuring a row of white and gold diamonds.  “Hey mom, no cavities,” tweeted Sean, who was nominated for Best New Artist at the 2012 BET Awards.  He will hit the stage at Hot 97 Summer Jam this weekend, and is readying his sophomore album for a September release.

Michelle Obama Praises Beyoncé on ‘GMA’

Beyoncé’s shows in Atlantic City over the weekend brought out many celebrities, but none more famous than Michelle Obama and her daughters Sasha and Malia. During her appearance on “Good Morning America” on Tuesday, the First Lady bestowed praise on the pop superstar. 

“Anybody who’s got talent, I’m all for,” Obama told Robin Roberts. “But Beyoncé has just been a tremendous supporter of ‘Let’s Move!’ Without asking, she reformulated [‘Get Me Bodied’] to do a flash mob for kids across this country.”

Beyoncé recorded “Move Your Body” for the First Lady’s “Let’s Move! Flash Workout” campaign to help fight childhood obesity.

“Beyoncé stepped up in a way that so many of our celebrities and athletes are stepping up on behalf of this issue, so I love her to death and was glad to be out there moving my body with her,” said Obama.

Earlier this month, the First Lady told PEOPLE that if she wasn’t in the White House, she would be the “Love on Top” singer. “If I had some gift, I’d be Beyoncé,” she said. “I’d be some great singer.”

The feeling is mutual. In April, Beyoncé penned a handwritten letter to Obama on her website, thanking her for being a great role model.

Beyonce is definitely the hardest working woman in show business.  It was all evident this past Memorial Day weekend as Beyonce sold out the premiere of the Revel Resorts in Atlantic City.  Everyone from her husband Jay-Z, her bandmates Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams, First Lady Michelle Obama and Sasha and Malia, Queen Latifah, John Legend, Kevin Hart who also had a show in AC, Jennifer Hudson, and the list goes on, were all spotted at the show.  During a recent rehearsal Beyonce was photographed rehearsing and Ms. Tina Knowles can be seen in the background holding Blu.

Nas reminisces on raising his daughter in the personal video for “Daughters,” the No I.D.-produced single off his upcoming album Life Is Good, due July 17. The Chris Robinson-directed clip is visualized through the eyes of his 17-year-old daughter Destiny Jones—from her third birthday party to her high school years to getting into trouble with boys.

“I think that this song for Nas is so personal, everything in the song is real, that he wanted to share this moment with his fans, with the world, and it was actually his suggestion,” Robinson told MTV News. “I was ready to cast someone, and he was real calm and said, ‘Hey, Dest is gonna be here, I think we need to keep it real.’”

Jay-Z and Kanye West’s ‘No Church in the Wild’ Video Set to Premiere Today

Jay-Z and Kanye West are ready to unleash another visual off their acclaimed album Watch the Throne. The video for “No Church in the Wild” is set to debut on Tuesday, according to director Romain Gavras. 

“My new video for jay z and kanye is out tomorow. ‪#nochurchinthewild‬,” tweeted Gavras, who directed M.I.A.’s “Bad Girls” and “Born Free” videos.

The apocalyptic piece was filmed in the streets of Prague last month. It is the third video to be released from the hip-hop duo’s Grammy-winning album Watch the Throne following “Otis” and “Ni**as in Paris.”

Clips from the video have been played during the European leg of the “Watch the Throne” tour.
