Evelyn Braxton, the mother of Tamar Braxton and the rest of the Braxton clan opened up on the Atlanta show “Sister’s Circle.”  Ms. Braxton recalled a time when she heard a bunch of loud noise coming from the kitchen while she was living in LA with the couple.  She stated that she ran in the kitchen to find Vince being physically abusive towards Tamar.  She stated that when she intervened Vince got aggressive with her as well.  Ms. Braxton said she ran back to her room, where baby Logan was at the time and put a chair against the door for her and Logan’s safety.

Vince has yet to deny Ms. Braxton claims and earlier this month she reported to TMZ similar accusations.  Ms. Braxton stated that it is time to bring more awareness to domestic violence as women and men are being abused and even killed. Domestic violence is very real and almost taboo to talk about because no one wants to get involved in personal relationships. However, we must take a stand somewhere and support those women and men who are affected daily. Most victims are blindsided by what they think is love and can’t see themselves without the person who is abusing them. Most times children are involved, it can be financial reasons or a number of reasons why a person stays.
