Rihanna was a show stopper in a glittery Givenchy gown while walking the red carpet at the BRIT Awards 2012 in London on Tuesday (Feb. 21).  The blonde pop starlet picked up the award for International Female Solo Artist for the second year in a row, thanking her fans for their continued support.

“At times when I feel misunderstood, my fans always remind me that it’s OK to be myself and I’ll never forget you for that,” said RiRi while accepting her award.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z wanted to witness Linsanity up close. Blue Ivy Carter’s parents made a rare public appearance courtside at Madison Square Garden on Presidents Day. The couple cozied up at the Knicks vs. Nets game to watch Jay’s team take on the NBA’s newest star Jeremy Lin and his team. The new mom flashed a smile as she was photographed in a yellow blazer and dark denim a month-and-a-half after giving birth to her daughter.

Whitney Houston Remembered at Clive Davis’ Pre-Grammy Party

The mood at Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy party turned from celebratory to somber after Whitney Houston’s tragic passing.  Celebrities gathered at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills—the same hotel where the singer was found dead hours earlier—for the annual affair.  While there were initial reports that the party had been canceled, it went on as planned, with Houston’s colleagues pouring out to celebrate the life of the 48-year-old legend.

Performers included Diana Ross, Jessie J, Marsha Ambrosius, Tony Bennett, Pitbull with Ne-Yo, and Wiz Khalifa with Miguel (“Young, Wild & Free”).  Brandy and Monica, who were originally scheduled to duet, did not perform.

The duo, who have a storied history together (Rhone signed Rowland to Universal Motown two years ago), were the chief recipients at Essence’s 3rd Annual Women In Music gala – which was also attended by Rowland’s Destiny’s Child badmate Michelle Williams.

After months of speculation, Khloe Kardashian and Alex Roldan have finally come face-to-face.

Kylie Jenner uploaded the first pictures with the caption, “First official photo of my sister and her dad! Like father like daughter!”

Just when you thought this would end the speculation that began after Robert Kardashian’s ex-wives both claimed he told them Khloe wasn’t his daughter … the fam may have pulled a fast one on us.

Khloe tweeted:

Awwwww what an amazing meeting I just had!!!!! Soooo excited!!!! I had such an amazing day!!! Just finished my crazy long yet blessed day! God is GREAT!!!! I love you… Remember that always! Xoxo

But we won’t rush to congratulate to Khloe and Alex Roldan just yet.

After her red-hot return last night, Beyoncé stepped out again on Tuesday evening to attend Jay-Z’s second Carnegie Hall show in New York City. Shimmering in a Monique Lhuillier dress, the hot mama turned the parking garage into a catwalk as she strutted to her awaiting car. This time, she flaunted her curvy figure in Gucci heels, a Chanel purse, and blue Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and nails in honor of her daughter Blue Ivy Carter.

B and her mother Tina Knowles recently designed a House of Deréon T-shirt in support President Obama’s Runway to Win campaign.

Jay-Z Makes History with Nas, Alicia Keys at Carnegie Hall

Jay-Z made a triumphant return to the stage with his first of two sold-out shows at New York’s historic Carnegie Hall on Monday night (Feb. 6). Accompanied by a 36-piece orchestra, the new father entered in a white tuxedo jacket and black bow tie to a standing ovation. He kicked off the evening with “PSA” and “Thank You” before introducing the orchestra’s female conductor and segueing into “Heart of the City (Ain’t No Love).”

Brooklyn’s own paid homage to his city with Billy Joel’s “New York State of Mind” and Frank Sinatra’s “New York, New York” and referenced Gil Scott-Heron’s “New York Is Killing Me.” An elegant Alicia Keys held court with Hov for their Big Apple anthem “Empire State of Mind” and Jay joined his fellow New Yorker Nas for “N.Y. State of Mind.” Alicia returned to duet with Nas on “If I Ruled the World (Imagine That).”

“I didn’t think I was gonna make it through that one. That was tough,” Hov told concertgoers after performing “Glory,” his touching dedication to his daughter Blue Ivy Carter.

After changing into a more comfortable black jeans and tee, he delivered classics including “Big Pimpin’” and “Jigga” and brought out Roc Nation singer Bridget Kelly for “Young Forever.” Ninety minutes later, he made a grand exit through the balcony. Proceeds from the concert benefitted the United Way of New York City and the Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation.
