Beyonce and Jay-Z were all smiles as they attended a book launch together in New York last night (8th May).

The new parents left baby Blue Ivy Carter at home for a night to join guests at friend Erica Reid’s book launch for The Thriving Child.

Jay-Z wore a casual denim jacket and t-shirt for the outing, while Bey showcased her incredible post-baby figure in a figure-hugging teal dress.

The pair looked very much in love as Jay-Z tenderly cupped Bey’s face as they spoke to other guests.  Mary J Blige also joined Bey and Jay at the launch of Reid’s new book, which tells her story of dealing with children who suffer from common allergies.

LeToya Luckett, LaTavia Roberson, and Michelle Williams got together for a lil girl time last night.  They were joined by Cosby Show actress Keisha Knight-Pullium.  It was Michelle and Latavia’s first time meeting.  Here’s hoping that Beyonce and Kelly will join the mix, and an official Destiny’s Child reunion with ALL members will happen sooner than later.

Soon after it was announced that Mary J. Blige would be singing the National Anthem at this years Kentucky Derby, a cry went up in certain circles that Mary was a poor choice because she would probably jazz up the anthem too much.  Turns out the music snobs were worried for nothing.  By all accounts Mary J. pulled off the anthem and still managed to put her own spin on it.  I must say an improvement from her last showing of the National Anthem, however still not my favorite vocal showing.  How you think she sounded??

Tyra Banks was spotted recently on a late night date with rapper Drake at Disney World in Orlando, Florida.  Interesting match up, but who really knows to what  extent the date consisted of….nevertheless they looked like they had a ball!!

The Knicks may have won Game 4 of the NBA Eastern Conference quarterfinals, but it was Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz’ and their son Egypt Daoud Dean who stole the show. The one-and-a-half-year-old was fresh in head-to-toe denim, a bandana around his head, and Jeremy Scott x adidas Wings 2.0 sneakers while sitting courtside with his famous parents at Sunday’s game.

To celebrate their twins’ first birthday this past Monday, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon pulled out all the stops — in Paris. Marking the occasion on Sunday with pink and blue balloons, custom-made French pastries, confetti and lots of toys, Carey, 42, and Cannon, 31, had a ball toasting Moroccan and Monroe alongside several close friends at the Plaza Athenee.

Say what you want about Rihanna, but one thing for certain is that she is a bad gurl!!  She and her homegirls got freaky up in the club and RiRi took to Instagram to share her enthusiasm.  She’s such a “lil freak” like my man Usher say, but you gotta love it!!
