Updated: Astro Hasn’t Signed Any Deals Yet…
Today, Astro from X-Factor USA who was voted off last week, made an appearance on the Wendy Williams show earlier today and discussed an array of things from Simon questioning his arrogance, to whether or not he had gotten an offer from Jay-Z’s RocNation. He confirmed that although there has been much speculation about deals being presented to him, he has not signed any paper work or had any meetings. Astro, is currently being managed by his mother and step-dad. He’ll be picked up by a MAJOR label, but I’m sure he still has contract obligations to fill for X-Factor.
Word on the Street: Astro Signs to RocNation….
Word on the street is that Jay-Z and the RocNation crew has picked up Astro, the 15 year rap sensation from Brooklyn, who took the X-Factor USA by storm with his passion, creativity, and ability to deliver solid and thought provoking performances. This comes as to no surprise to me, because Astro just seems like the type to have Jay and Kanye as mentors, because dude got some serious skills to only be 15, he raps better than most dudes out now. The roster that Roc Nation is building has been an impressive cast to say the least, J. Cole, Willow Smith, Bridget Kelly is garnering major attention, and now Astro. I think he will fit right in, and hopefully have the guidance and nurturing to become the next big thing!!

Chris Brown Wows Crowd with Impromptu Breakdance Battle [Video]
Say what you want about R&B star Chris Brown, but the boy can dance. Here’s a video of Chris break dancing with a group of experienced B-Boys, and of course Mr. Brown showed the dancers a thing or two. Chris will play a lead role in the upcoming music-themed drama Planet B Boy, which began production in October.
