Allen Iverson Wants to Stop His Divorce

Allen Iverson and his lawyers have come up with some papers of their own asking a judge to toss out Tawanna’s divorce petition because the couple had “resumed their marital relationship’ by cohabiting and having sexual relations as well as  “holding themselves out as husband and wife” between the months of November 2011 and February 2012.

According to Iverson, that’s enough for a judge to throw out Tawanna’s divorce petition — on grounds the marriage isn’t “irretrievably broken” … as she had claimed.

It’s unclear if Iverson actually wants to get back together with Tawanna — the former NBA player’s legal move might simply be an attempt to delay paying support.

Video has surfaced and it shows Nicki, Madonna and M.I.A. on the set of the  ‘Give Me All Your Luvin’ video, They divulged in candle-lit cupcakes and  glasses of champagne  while singing Happy Birthday.

The Diamond Princess, who recently underwent a makeover on VH1’s “Styled by June,” hits the dance floor with her Gloria Gaynor-inspired anthem. “Everybody want a second chance/ I just want to dance, wanna live like I’m free,” she sings over the electro-pop beat.

VH1 Renews T.I. &Tiny Reality Show for 2nd Season

T.I.’s VH1 hustle will continue on.

The network announced today that it has greenlit a second season of his reality show “T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle,” which follows the rapper, his wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle” and their children as they go about their various activities.

The show has become a certified hit for VH1, averaging 3.5 million total viewers during each Monday night premiere and first encore. Paired with the second season of “Love & Hip Hop” and the fourth season of “Basketball Wives,” the network has ranked as Monday Prime’s #1 cable net among W18-49.

Season two of “T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle” is slated to return fall 2012.

IRS Seeks To Garnish Nas’ Publishing Income

 Nas’ financial battle with the Internal Revenue Service continues, over a $6 million delinquent tax bill.

According to TMZ.com, the IRS recently filed court documents seeking to garnish Nas’ earnings from his publishing companies.

The government is garnishing wages Nas earns through ASCAP and BMI, the two largest performing right Society organizations in the United States.

The performing rights organizations collect and track Nas’ music earnings from radio, television and other sources.

In February, the IRS put a lien on property Nas owns in Eagles Landing, Georgia, as well as a $339,000 tax bill for income earned in 2010.

Nas is reportedly preparing to release a new album tentatively titled Life Is Good.

Ladies of R&B Picked up by TV One

Last October r&b singer Syleena Johnson broke the news that a bunch of your unsung favorites were getting together for a new reality show called Diary of a Diva.

 Names attached to the project at the time included Angie Stone, Tweet, LeLee from SWV, Syleena Johnson, Faith Evans, Monifah, KeKe Wyatt and the show’s producer, Brownstone original member Nicci Gilbert.

Now that the series has been officially picked up the cast has been whittled down considerably.

Now called ‘The Ladies of R&B’, the show will feature Faith Evans, Nicci Gilbert, Keke Wyatt, Monifah Carter and Syleena Johnson.

TVOne says,

‘The Ladies of R&B’ will follow the women solo, together and in different combinations as they not only fight to get their lives on track but also to pay their good fortune forward. Divorce, parenting, drugs and alcohol, physical abuse and more – these ladies have survived it all and continue to deal with life’s battles each day,
